Beach Club Standard Room- what to request?

One of my DSs has CP and cannot walk long distances. He is also very sensitive to loud noises. Where would you request a room?

Will you have a wheelchair/stroller for your son at the resort? That might be your best bet, as the first two floors of BC were very busy when we were there, but our 3rd floor room overlooking the greenery facing EPCOT was very quiet.

Two things to note though - you can never be 100% guaranteed to be in a quiet room, as your neighbors could be the Rowdy Clan from Make-a-Noise. Lots of people let their doors slam against the safety latch, which is very, very loud in the middle of the night, IMO. Also, BC is very close to EPCOT, and Illuminations is pretty loud, especially if the wind is blowing from EPCOT towards the BC.

Most important is the sensitivity to noise. Emphasise that point. You can rent a wheelchair or bring yours from home. The companies deliver to the front desk of your hotel. A good night's sleep is more important than the family taking turns pushing the kid the extra block or two. Boats and busses are available that are disabled friendly.

The top floor means you do not have guests above you to make noise. At most hotels I have found the ground floor to often be noisier because there is more foot traffic. Also make sure you are far from stairwells and elevators which tend to have loud people and noises.
