We will be staying at the Beach Club for the first time in August. I'm thinking since we really like Epcot, we should request a room at that end of the hotel. We've paid for a water view, can anyone tell me if there is another spot prettier, should we stay near the elevator since that gets us to the lobby faster????????? What view is pretty?????

Thanks in advance!

If you really like EPCOT and plan on visiting there frequently, then I would suggest trying for room at that end of the buildings. There is a staircase at teh very end and an exit door. Great quick in and out access for EPCOT. There are also main elevators near lobby and elevators located in the wing itself. The lobby is great for access to the busses for heading out to MK, AK, etc. I know there are BC room number maps somewhere here on DIS and I think on Allears. We had 3548. No view, just trees, just several doors down from the end of the building. About 5 minute walk from EPCOT International Gate.

If you request a room closer to Epcot, is it "quiet" in that area of hotel?

Prefer quiet rooms......

Thx.........

Yes. We were near EPCOT, facing towards BCV (non-water view) and it was very quiet - heard nothing. You do not want to be near and facing SAB.

Here is the map with room numbers for BC. The map is outdated in reference to the room view types, but the layout and room #s are correct. We had a terrific room 4th floor, full balcony several years ago looking over quiet pool and in the distance the Boardwalk w/ Crescent Lake view. We like this end of the resort for easy access to Epcot. Just keep in mind it does put you further from the lobby and busses and restaurants. The walk really isn't bad :thumbsup2

Our last stay was in room 4617. It had a great view across the water of the Boardwalk! It was a 3 minute walk to the international gateway. Have a blast!:thumbsup2

We stayed at the BCR in 2006. We were given a room that also looked across the water to the Boardwalk. It was a bottom floor that had a little patio area. We had ducks and rabbits come daily to our patio. The ducks ate right out of our hands. We also had lizards and a black snake that frequented our patio. We loved the location since we could just exit through our patio door, walk across the grass and then onto the walkway that led to Epcot.
