Beach Club Resort - Rooms?

We are going to stay in the Beach Club Resort end of Sept. Have read some posts saying that some rooms should be avoided. We are a family of 4. Any suggestions as to special requests for particular types of room or areas to go for? We like it to be quiet at night if possible and would prefer a bit of a view.

I would ask for a room with a full balcony and a day bed...I also like the 2nd floor rooms because you can use the steps off the lobby rather than waiting on the elevator, that is something I like anyway. Though I always request a room close to the elevator as well.
