Good morning everyone, I have a few ? about the beach club. I think I read somewhere that refillable mugs are available here and also that there is a small continental breakfast in the lobby every morning. Is this true and by any chance is the breakfast free? Leaving in 25 days and trying to fine tune the budget!

Yes we can buy refillable mugs at the Beach Club. There is a new store opening up soon where we can fill up the mugs.

No the continental brkfst is not free

Ahem...sorry.

No free breakfast, although I found the prices for pastries and coffee at the lobby bar fairly reasonable.

You can refill your mug at Beaches and Cream, the pool bar, and the lobby bar (coffee/tea refills only) in the morning. I'll caution you, sometimes the lines to get refills can be pretty darn long.

Have a good time!

Why would you laugh at someone for asking a question she did not know the answer to????

kitchenfairy- i heard that a "grab n go" food area just opened on friday in the newly renovated beach club goft shop. i'm checking out the boards to see if anyone has tried it yet. that could offer some relatively inexpensive breakfast options. have fun--we're going in may!

Hint: it was a joke! The mere thought that something would be free at WDW is pretty funny. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It was a joke--that's why I also offered an apology right under it. Sorry you didn't "get it".

Do you re-fill the mug yourself, like at the all-star food courts? Or do the reestaurants do it for you?
There are no self-service drink islands at the Beach Club. You need to have a CM fill the mug for you. Sometimes the lines can be pretty long. There may be self-service coffee/tea in the morning, but we always had our mug filled with Starbucks from our coffee maker in the AM :sunny:.

I got it immediately!
Loved it.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Looking forward to our trip! And by the way I "got it" and wasn't offended by it. Ihave been to WDW enough times to know that nothing is free just some wishful thinking I guess!!
