Beach Club Pool

Hello....talking with a fellow DVC member and she mentioned that if your staying at the Beach Club Villas you can’t use the main pool at the Beach Club? Is this true? I went onto the Beach Club Villas amenities page and it says we have access to all the pools. Can a fellow DVC member verify for us?

If you are staying at the Beach Club or BC Villas or even the Yacht Club, you have access to all pools on those properties.

You absolutely have access to Stormalong Bay if you are staying at beach club villas. CMs will scan your MB at the SAB entrance and give you a special wristband. We stayed at BCV three months ago on DVC points and went into both SAB and the quiet pool behind the villas.

You must be staying at BCV or YC or BC to have access to Stormalong Bay. Anywhere else and you won't be swimming there.

As others have said you have access to the main pool (Stormalong Bay) and you can even rent one of the cabanas that they just put in at Stormalong Bay, whomever you spoke with was quite misinformed.

If you are staying in the Beach Club Villas, you definitely have access to the Stormalong Bay pool. The Stormalong Bay is for guest staying at the Beach Club Inn, Beach Club Villas, and Yacht Club resorts. No other outside guests can pool hop to Stormalong Bay.

He was probably mistaken because the rule is you cannot poolhop to stormalong bay. That means if you're staying at another resort you cannot enter that pool, while, for example, you can go to the BWV pool.

People often used to think that you couldn't use both pools at WL/VWL either and that you only had access to whichever you were staying at. I'd guess it was just some confusion. The odd ball is the BLT pool that CR guests can't use but even then BLT guests can use the CR pools.
