We are going to be there at the Beach resort in July, and for the first time ever we are going to use the Club Level since having two teenagers and two adults eating for breakfast anywhere is a big chunk of change ... we thought this might be nice for breakfast and evening snacks, etc.
Just looking for some reactions to the food, what do you like? Anything that would be helpful ?
Thanks!

Our Beach Club CL stay was in 2014, and it was OK. In fairness, our experience was tainted by the fact that they were building the new lounge, so we were in a temporary lounge. We find the breakfast to be sufficient for our family because we are not huge breakfast people. We often will have a big lunch, in the parks, and then just snack on the evening offerings in the lounge at night before heading back to the parks. Beach Club had a lot of fried options, which I wasn't crazy about but it was all tasty enough.

I loved club level, as I am not a big breakfast eater. The menu is light, but to me enough. If someone likes eggs bacon pancakes etc, they will be disappointed in what the lounge gives you.

Breakfast (7 AM to 10:30 AM): A fairly typical continental breakfast that you’d find at any business-grade hotel with cereals, bagels and cream cheese, pastries and doughnuts (selection varies daily), mini muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, tea, coffee, and juice.

The evening food was delicious and I know changes from time to time, so I am not sure exactly what they will be serving.

The new BC club lounge is huge and beautiful. They definitely had more of a choice than several other CL lounges. We were there a year ago so I don't know if it changed since. For breakfast when we were there they also had cheesy grits for breakfast-they were good. We love the Nespresso coffee maker. We all eat breakfast in the lounge.

We stayed CL a year ago and enjoyed it. The breakfast offerings were good.....fruit, oatmeal, grits, cereal, yogurt, cheese meat, bagels, pastries and juice. As a family of five it was very easy to pop in for breakfast. I loved making lattes to go with the Nepresso machine. My boys got tired of the options fairly quickly and we did end up booking 2 sit down breakfasts as well. We did our TS at lunch and usually snacked in the lounge in the evenings or grabbed something from CS for the boys. I'm glad I tried it once but don't know that I would do it again. If Neil is still working CL, he is really fabulous and has tons of great stories about his years at Disney.

I hope you enjoy your time there!

Check out the info in post 12 of the Beach and Yacht Club info thread. Lots of pictures and info. Link is in my signature.

We loved CL for breakfast. We aren't big breakfast eater so what they offered was perfect for us. They had fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, oatmeal and some dry cereal options. And of coure coffee with all kinds of syrups. :)
We weren't around most days so we missed out on everything else except a couple evening snack times.

I like BC CL, but I am not sure that it is cost effective if you want to feed your family if they are big eaters. The breakfast is fairly light for those used to bacon and egg type meals, and as far as dinner, it is appetizers. Desserts later in the evening. My DH mutinied after two days and went down to the marketplace for breakfast. It was plenty for the girls but not him and my DSIL. There are light snacks during the day, and the appetizers beer and wine in the evening. My family liked the food but we had a full meal outside of the lounge every evening.

Before you book this, and I like CL in general, make sure that if you are using it as a meal replacement, you will all be satisfied with what is offered. Otherwise you will not save money.

We have half of our breakfasts in the Stone Harbor Club and have ADR's for the other half. We usually stay for 12 days -the food in the lounge is adequate but does tend to get boring if you have it every day.

following we are there in July too hoping it will satisfy my teenagers somewhat and it is a surprise too and we are at Old Key West for a few days!

We always found the BC lounge was great for a quick breakfast that got us out to the parks in time for early EMH. Then we were ready for lunch a little early, around 11 or 11:30, which put us ahead of the crowds. We enjoyed the lounge offerings in the afternoon as a predinner snack, but we only made it there about every other night.

:thumbsup2

Thanks! I think it's going to be great at breakfast in particular with basically 4 adult sized people sharing a bathroom and some of us ready to eat earlier than others!!

This is exactly why I liked the lounge when we booked CL. I am an early riser, so off for coffee I go! And in the late afternoon when everyone is getting ready for dinner, we know we have access to the lounge to relax and give space to those in the room. For me, it is worth it just for that convenience.
