I'm sending a package to our grandchildren at the Beach Club. I read a post that someone was charged $9 per day to hold the package until their arrival. Is this true? What about SSR? We'll be staying there the following week, and I was going to send some things ahead.

Does anyone have some recent experience with this?

Thanks!

We've ship most of our clothes to both OKW and BWV without any charges. We address it to ourselves. We clearly mark our arrival day. I've been told not to put the reservation number on the package. We ship UPS and plan for 7-10 days for it to arrive.

I was told by someone (DVC member services?) that I should put "hold for guest ______, arriving on _______, reservation number ______", in addition to the resort info: name, address, etc.

I hope this is OK, since I already have the 1st one boxed & addressed, and ready to ship. I was planning on using UPS, and it should arrive 2 days before they check in.

In all my years going to Disney I have never heard of them trying to Nickel and Dime on something like that. You could always speak with a manager when you arrive if they try to tack on a charge. I am sure that they won't charge you.

I always ship a package down to us. I have never been charged a fee and most of the time they are holding it for 2 days. We check in on a Sun and I make sure the package arrives on a Fri. I always address it to the resort and then write "hold for" with who evers name the ressie is under. I also include the check in day as well as the ressie #.
