Hi All

I have been reading the Q&A's, thanks to everone for your hard work, but I still have a couple questions. I got lucky with a great ap rate at the beach club concierge later this month. Never having stayed at BC I wonder about the 5th floor rooms, do they all have a full balcony and do they all have a daybed? We may have an extra adult one night and the daybed would be ideal. I do plan to pay the extra fee if this person does "visit".

I also wonder if the BC has a separate check in for concierge guests. We stayed at AKL concierge in June last year and were escorted directly the the lounge for check in - it was wonderful.

Thanks again
TJ

Maybe I'll answer your questions if you tell me what your great AP rate is. Okay, I can't answer your questions either way, but I am curious about your rate, if you care to divulge.

Thanks,
CD

We stayed in BC Concierge last summer. You will love it!

They have a separate check-in for concierge guests. If you are driving, the guard at the gate will give you a parking ticket and it should say "Concierge" on it. Valet will see it and take you and your luggage to the 5th floor to the concierge desk for check-in. They make it very easy for you.

As far as daybeds, I believe it depends on your view. We had a standard view and it did not have a daybed. This year we will have 5 people in our room and when I called CRO, I was told I could only book waterview with 5 people. I'm not sure about the balconies. We had a full balcony in our room. I would make sure you request a full balcony.

Enjoy!

That's exactly what I was looking for. I will either be arriving by Taxi or via the walkway from WS after spending time Epcot. <yippee>

I wonder what the policy for walk in concierge restration will be for a walk up. I guess I will ask the bellman before waiting in the check-in line if I don't have to.

I haven't faxed my requests before but I suppose I will, or perhaps the concierge will contact me as they did at AKL. Can I get a full balcony with a standard view? I don't mind the view but would love the space and fresh air the balcony provides.

TIA
TJ

If you ask for a full balcony as your #1 request, you have a very good chance of getting it.. Concierge was very good at accomodating us. The first room they assigned us was looking straight at the BCV construction. DH asked to be moved and they changed our room right away. (DH has to sleep with a door cracked and since it can't be the room door, he cracks the balcony door and didn't want to hear early morning hammers and saws.)
I believe the Bellhop desk is directly across from check-in and they will assist you with your luggage and get you access to the 5th floor. Remember to look for Art the greeter in the lobby. What a sweet man!
