Beach Club club level review (longish) New pictures added!

Hi JungleCruiser! I think we chatted once before about the Deluxe Rooms. I posted lots of pics on the BC/YC Suites & Deluxe Rooms thread - over on the Resorts Board. That thread is usually buried a few pages back, but it's there somewhere!

Ground floor 1557 has a large patio that literally is 10 steps from the quiet pool and hot tub if that appeals to you. I have a snake phobia so that was out - but that would have been SUPER convenient. I did laundry while there, and the laundry room is right by the quiet pool, so ground floor would have saved me having to carry wash to an elevator! We used the quiet pool & hot tub at least once a day if not more, maybe next time I'll request ground floor.

2557 & 4557 have the full balconies.

3557 has 2 small Juliet (standing room only) balconies.

I didn't see the 2 rooms above Cape May.

TaraPA :wave2:

I remember chatting with you about the elusive pictures of the deluxe rooms! I have put in a request for a deluxe room with a large balcony or patio (I can do the first floor if need be...if I get it, I will keep you posted on snakes and such!), explaining that I will be on a break from chemo and I will spend more time relaxing in the room that I would have in the past, that a large balcony would be wonderful. Fingers crossed, however if I get the large balcony great, if not, I will still have a wonderful time. :goodvibes I will send in my request again when we get closer.

I meant to mention KatieKat that I was amazed at how large your room was! If it was just DH and I would definitely trade a balcony with a view for that room!

Thank you for the reivew! We will be there in Sept! I as well dont care so much about the view as long as I havent paid for it. DH on the other hand would have asked to be moved..

I consider it a blessing if we get a nice view, like last yr Poly we were upgraded from CL GV to CL TPV.. It was simply..amazing!!

Wow, how much a night are those deluxe rooms? They look really nice. I guess if I have to ask I can't afford them. lol

$540-$825/nt rack rate (depending on season) but we had a 30% off AP discount. I had never seen one come up with an AP discount (I guess because there are so few of them) so I snagged it quickly! The pictures don't even do it justice, it was HUGE!

I loved the size of KatieKat's king room - if it's ever just 2 of us I'm requesting that!

Enjoyed the pics. For anyone else reading this about the view at club level, keep in mind there is a GARDEN VIEW for around 15 more a night and is very pretty. However at club level these rooms are few and far between. There are less than 10 available. So if you don't care for a standard view and lagoon is too crazy expensive you could attempt to book Garden. We usually stay at YC CL GV but for this summer trip I could only get BC CL GV. So I am anxious to try it out

We walked in the room and I was like... wait...what? lol why is this room so big?! I was so excited about how big it was and the two balconies I didn't care about the view.

There were no garden view rooms available for our nights :( I booked kind of last minute though, like a month before we went.

Would you know if the patio room you are discussing is a standard view CL? We books Standard view, that was all that was available., and a full balcony. I would much rather have a patio room if it is in our category. We had a patio when we stayed at the Poly and I thought that I was going to be disappointed we had no balcony. The patio was one of the nicest surprises we had!

The room I was talking about is a Deluxe CL room - they have no "view" categories to pick from since there are only 6 of them, but you have to book & pay for a Deluxe CL room, not just a regular CL room. If you have booked Deluxe CL, then you could request the room with the patio which is 1557, but no guarantee that you'll get it. There are no other Deluxe CL rooms with a patio, the rest have balconies.

As far as I know, there are no other CL rooms at all with a patio since they're all on the 5th floor.

Thanks Tara! I am trying to get my bearings concerning the layout of the BC rooms. While I would love a deluxe room I am a bit to stingy to pay for it this trip, we are planning tours and some dinner shows as well so :confused3.

We are standard view so it is safe to say we are on the 5th floor?

Correct Nancy, the non-Deluxe CL rooms at BC are on the 5th floor (which is also where the BC CL lounge is). I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!

Oh I know that we will! My DGD Dis 10 and for the past two years has wanted nothing to do with a Disney vacation. She would not say why but my DH was so sad...........his little Princess too old for the Mouse????? I was kind of shocked, she seemed to love SAB whenever we were at the BC for meals or to see the decorations.

She wanted a trip somewhere with Dh and Me so I had her planning and she kept turning up WDW resorts. Ummmmmmmmmmmm KAdy, this is Disney.:confused3 We were offered a good code and DD and I decided to just book and hope she would be happy.

Turns out she had been friendly woith two girls who had never been toWDW and would be :furious::stir: every time they heard there was another trip. Well she has a new little group of friends who are not jealous of her trips and they can all talk about their vacations so she is all about the BC ans how much fun she and her Pa will have in the pool. Mom and Dad and Nana can tour. "Pa won't mind staying with me if you all want to go someplace, right?"

DH is prepared to get waterlogged while we enjoy a relaxed stay :goodvibes and enjoying the lounge will be a part of our plan. We will be there over Thanksgiving and are prepared for crowds. The resort will be part of our vacation until the parks slow down.

All I requested is a full balcony, I like sitting with DH with coffee or a glass of wine.

Just wanted to add that we just booked our next stay here for next October! While we want to go explore more deluxes, we want our kid to stay there with us and experience the pool. We're doing a split stay with BC and AoA.
