There used to be a place on the way from the lobby to the pool but I think I remember reading that is was on it's way out. Makes sense since I rarely saw people in it. Maybe a more recent traveler would be able to help.
I agree with you - the Belle Vue Lounge is one of our favorites also.
At the Beach Club, there is a small place next to the Cape May Cafe (I cannot remember the name of it). There is a bar next to the Yachtsment Steakhouse called the Crew Cup (It also serves appetizers). And in the Yacht Club lobby is the Ale and Compass.
Not really. The small lobby lounge, Rip Tide, has been closed for some years. It's used as a waiting area for Cape May Cafe. Martha's Vineyard Lounge is just down from Cape May, next the closed Ariel's restaurant. Martha's is next to the outside exit area which leads to Stormalong Bay and Beaches and Cream.
We stayed at the BC in Jan. & Sept/Oct of last year and have not seen Martha's Vineyard ever open. We didn't ask about it, just went outside to Hurricane Hannah's by the Pool. The Crew Cup was open & was always nice & quiet.
I was just there in April. Martha's Vineyard was open then. They don't open until 4:30 or 5:00, can't remember which. This is my favorite quiet place to get a drink while at the world.

I'm really glad to hear this! I know we did pass there after 5 & it wasn't open. Maybe the time of year or something. Since we recently purchased at DVC at the BC, I was actually worrying about this! Gotta have a bar in home resort you know!

I've been to both Martha's Vineyard Lounge and Bellevue Lounge, and although I liked Belluvue better, the Martha's Vineyard Lounge was pretty nice. I went in there one night and had a bowl of Clam Chowder, which I think came from the Cape May Clambake next door. It was peaceful, quiet.
