Beach Club--Atlantic Beach Wear store

Just wondering if anyone can give a report on the newly remodeled Atlantic Beach Wear store in the BC? Heard there is food now; also wondering about merchandise assortment?

Just got back from the BCVs and the store opened the day we were there, Good Friday. They still carry BC merchandise and the usual assosrtment of shirts, jewelry, DVC merchandise, etc. The food area is towards the back entrance with a self serve mug refill station and an area for sandwiches, ice cream and baked goods. There are a couple of bistro tables in the store. The added tables and chairs to the area (covered porch) outside, which was very nice.

I was wondering if they have changed the BC logo. When we were there in May 04 my 3 DSs couldn't get pins with BC on them. We went back in Dec and still no pins. When I asked a CM I was told they were changing the logo and that is why there haven't been any pins. Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks for the info on the NEW BC store! So glad to hear of the new food additions. We will be staying in the BCV in a couple of weeks and this seems a perfect location for us Villa people! Joan

We just returned and yes you can purchase milk & OJ. Had great gelato. It's really a nice addition.

I heard about the gelato and can't wait to try it (although need still get my Beaches & Cream fix in!). This has always been one of my favorite resort gift shops, so am anxious to see it. And hopefully they will have a decent assortment of DVC merch!

This will be the fourth logo change since we started staying there in 1997. I still like the original one best!

Even before the change, you could indeed get OJ, beer and wine there.

Are there hot breakfast items available? I've never been a fan of the continental breakfast.
