Beach Club Advice

Hi, everyone --

I called AAA today and switched our November/December reservation from the Grand Floridian to the Beach Club (and saved almost $700). I booked a stardard view room. For room requests I told the AAA agent to note that my mother has some mobility problems so we'd like to be centrally located and fairly close to the elevator. I also requested a full balcony. At that point the agent seemed to be zoning out on me so I stopped there. Is there anything in particular I should ask for at check-in to get a good view?

Do rooms at the Beach Club have a coffeemaker?

We're checking into the Beach club this Sunday to start our 4 day land portion of the land/sea. I'm also wondering what it might take to get the full balcony. I heard coffee pots have to be requested- not enough for everyone. Anyone else?

Sometimes I've had a great view and sometimes not. That said, the rooms are beautiful - and I really don't mind the view anymore.
Disneyzone has a great room layout of the Beach Club - and they really explain the size and view - and type of balcony if that's important to you.
I would check that site out - and then put in your "request" to the BC.

For Beach Club rooms, request a "quiet pool" room, I have done that for the past 2 times and ended up with a waterview room rather than a standard...also close walk to epcot and near laundry room!
It does not hurt to try and you get a better view than standard.
