Beach Cleanup

Since the Hoop De Doo is coming back has WDW did any clean up of the disaster that has grown up on Clementine‘s beach? We were there in February and it was quite a mess. Tall weeds an bushes. Skrim / fencing falling down. A disgrace to what it was once.
We will be there on the 4th of June. Ready to be back………

There was an announcement from Disney about a "beach refurb" project that started off this week and will run until early July. It isn't clear from the announcement whether it is the former Clementine's Beach to the left of the dock (behind fences) or on the new (original) beach side. We are anxiously awaiting someone to arrive to the Fort and let us know.

I saw a blog post saying the "left" beach would be closed for a refurbishment. That would be the old Clementine's Beach which has been closed for almost 3 years now. It was going to be a part of Reflections, but instead of building on it they just turned it into dirt and left it.
