Beach at Vero Beach closed?

We arrive on the 16 and I just happened to log onto their hotel page to look up something and it has a popup that beach is closed from 13th to 23rd.

Did I miss a notification? There is nothing on the DVC Member page? Just seems rather important to inform guests when that is the attraction??

Don’t panic.
We checked in late Monday night and the beach was indeed closed yesterday.
This morning the beach access is open and the beach is fully open to the south and they are still working to the north but hope to be finished today.

At Vero Beach now. We arrived on the 16th and beach was open. And is open now. It appears they aren’t doing a full sand replenishment. Unlike last year this time
