Losing anyone this talented is always sad, but I'm trying to celebrate her life rather than mourn her passing.

She provided so many hours of entertainment for millions of people, and did so virtually right up to the end of her almost 87 years.

I heard her one woman show was amazing but, sadly, I never got to see it.

Golden Girls is television "Gold".

Maude; words can't describe how awesome this show was, and still is. A true iconic television character that would never have been so without the amazing talents of Bea Arthur.

She will truly be missed, but will keep me laughing always.

My last band was named "Zbornak". We were a queer punk band, with two dykes and two bears, and we all loved Golden Girls, so we named our band after Dorothy Zbornak, Bea's character.
