yep i'm locking my phone down now. I am sure nearly all of us have things on our phone that are innocent but would look bad in isolation.

my phone is locked because it has apps on it that are always signed in to websites; have travel details; just lots of info I don't need a stranger getting their hands on. My laptop is also password & fingerprint locked for same reason.

Not going to stop the smartest of crooks probably, but the average joe maybe.

Portable devices with so much details can be bad things. Guard them well.

This reminds me of a few years ago my Best Friend at the time had me in her phone as "my lover" or something like. It was a TOTAL joke. Well she left her phone somewhere on campus and she told me to call it so I did. And the security offier answered the phone and said to come pick it up at his office. So we went to the office to pick it up and he said something like "oh this must be your lover." We were both so embarassed, but now it's just funny.

I"m betting it really wasn't that. Just an inside joke with a bf or something. But still. The person who found out tried to keep it quiet for her but she brought up her explanation in a room full of people so it became public.

So it sounds like she is not embarrassed at all, so why would anyone else care?
