This is a reminder to EVERYONE that is flying!

My DBF and I are flying out of Bangor, Maine on November 9th. I had originally made reservations on June 26th and got assigned seating with that same call. I don't know why I did, but I got a gut feeling today to check on my flights. It turns out there were some major changes and that I no longer had assigned seating. So I called the 1-800 number to make further changes of the changes they made that were more to my liking.

I got a kick out of one of return flight segments....they had us arriving in Cincinnati at 8:15 pm yet somehow or other we had to make the connecting flight at 7:45 pm to Bangor. HUH???? Hey, I'm fast when I have to be, but that's downright impossible!!!!

Anyways, my flights are no longer "the perfect" flights that I had originally scheduled in June, but they'll do. Bummer.

I think I will be checking on-line weekly from now until my November trip. Had I not checked, I could have gotten some really crap and odd times, with multiple-stops and perhaps even assigned seating that had us sitting in different rows! I would be sooooo

Wow, that just is awful. Sorry! I have had minor changes, but nothing like the impossible connection...I don't get how they can make changes and fail to notify you. Hope you don't get any more surprises!

This December my family & I are flying WestJet to Orlando & flying back home from Tampa. Well this past week they sent us an e-mail saying there was a time change to our flight. When I saw our new flight times, they only made minor changes in the times that will not affect us. Going to Orlando we are now leaving at 10:35 AM, instead of 10:03 AM. Comming home from Tampa we are leaving at 2:24 PM & not 2:50 PM, so at least we will be landing earlier then we expected. We did not expect them to change the flight time this early because usually when we have flown Air Canada we get an e-mail saying times have changed 2-3 months before we leave. However this is the 1st time we are flying WestJet so I guess they are different from Air Canada.
