I forgot I managed to get one but it doesn't really fit with my existing plans so I have a choice to make. The CM on the phone said that there were 900 people in the queue at one point this morning!
I got two reservations early this morning using the app on my phone. I had searched earlier using my ipad but it only showed dinner although I knew other people had got lunch. Used my iPhone and got choice of three times around 12.30 for Mother's Day, 10th May. Tried again for 8th May to test and no problem again, however not long after that the system seemed to go into melt down.
I've just managed to get one for our July trip as well. It's quite early but we'll be having breakfast at our villa that day so it's probably better for us.
I tried a few times earlier today all without any success. I was just reading the Dining board and somebody said put a time rather than select lunch, I just did that and got a reservation for the 23rd April (which had come up as unavailable on all the previous occasions!), lots of times to choose from too. Not sure if it was a coincidence or just website problems earlier but it may be worth a go!
I just managed to book reservations for two of our magic kingdom visits. The website wouldn't search for times for me earlier but it seems to be back up and running now.
Got 11.45am for August 17th on the app which was the exact date and exact time I wanted. Had a choice of times offered to me. Didn't realise people had been having problems so feeling lucky now!!
I read that the turkey sandwich is good, don't know if I'll preorder or not. Like you Nigel, we also enjoy CHH and are also going to the Plaza restaurant one evening.

I was looking to book for 15/8. When I first looked for lunch it would only give me 1035 or 1040.... Way too early for lunch so we left it.Then at about 8pm, decided to look again and was offered 12, 1220 and 1240.... Bagged the 1220 - score!
