Finally, if you can't get a dinner reservation and are mainly interested in seeing the interior of the restaurant and soaking up the atmosphere you can go for lunch. It is a CS and does not take reservations, although if you are staying at a Disney owned resort you might be able to get a FP+. The menu between lunch and dinner have differences although the desserts are nearly identical. The biggest differences are only at dinner will you be able to meet the Beast and have a photo op with him and beer and wine are available only at dinner.
Since today is our 180 mark, I set my alarm for 5:50am. Came downstairs to my office and got myself ready for the clock to turn 6...
Soon as it did, I tried to get our much desired BoG ressie for our arrival day... No tables available around 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Tuesday, Oct 14, 2014.Tried for Sunday the 19th... No tables. Basically, looks like October's all booked up. :/
I had heard it was hard to get, but I wasn't expecting that! I'm seriously hoping that someone out there cancels.Thankfully though, I was able to secure every other ADR we had chosen. So my early rise wasn't for nothing at least, lol.
TinkSassy, I wish you the best of luck getting an ADR as well!![]()
Can I ask a silly question? When you say the main difference between TS and Quick Service is the beast....wouldn't a difference also be that for TS, you have a waiter, and for Quick Service, I assume it's more cafeteria style where you get your own food?
At lunch, you do not have to get your own food. You order and then are given a rose that serves as a locator for the staff to find you. You go choose a table and when your order is ready, they bring it to you. I do find dinner to have better food and a bit different atmosphere (plus a glass of wine is nice!), but if you can't get dinner, definitely try lunch.
