If we have reservations for BOG, can we just go eat dessert? :confused3 I don't think there is anything really appealing to eat there. Not our thing, but I think my daughter will love it so I thought I'd make the reservations for our trip just to have them. I thought I could push it back to later(slots are open) and just do dessert. TIA for your response!

If you are not interested in eating dinner there, why don't you just eat lunch there? We ate lunch there so we could see the inside. I have to tell you, before we got to Disney we were not impressed with the menu at all and just figured to order dessert at lunch time. While in line, we decided since we had so many credits available, we might as well try the food while we were there. We ordered four different main courses and 4 different desserts and we really enjoyed all of it! It was a real surprise to us! Also, even though there was a line (we went at around 1:30pm), it moved rather quickly and there were lots of available tables once we got inside. At lunch, you can also pick the dining room you would like to sit in. They bring your food to yo at your table and everything is served on real dishes. You only need to get your own drinks and cutlery. It was my most memorable experience during our trip!

I have to agree with the pp. A CM called us over to take a peek inside in the morning. We got some nice pics and lunch is worth it if you would like to just go to be inside and have desserts. Enjoy. You can go early and late 3:00-ish. Line moves very quickly and you are seated, food is brought to you. Very nice!

The desserts are the same at both lunch and dinner so if you only want to see the inside of the castle and nothing on the dinner menu appeals I would go at lunchtime.

My thinking is that we wouldn't have to wait...with june being crowded and it would give us a little sit down time around 8 before the parade and fireworks to relax. Just wasn't sure if they wouldn't want us to have a table at dinner for just drinks and dessert though. I am trying to avoid lines since so much of our trip will include them.

Go for it!

If you already have the ADR and wouldn't use it otherwise do what you think you will enjoy. You can even get the picture with Beast afterwards.

I would go during lunch. There is lots to explore. If you go right when it opens at 10:30am you can walk around pretty easily before it gets busy. I took some video during my lunch experience: http://youtu.be/b_79w_k_o-I

ter looking at the menu I changed out ADR and plan to go for lunch, even though it didn't look like they had many options for lunch either that my family would eat, I really just want to get inside there:)
