Be Our Guest Table Service Dinner, is it worth it?

I really enjoyed BOG for dinner--both the ambience and the food. There are touches you miss at lunch, like how they hand you Lumiere to light you to your table and the Beast's appearance. The grey stuff is good to me. I preferred it on the cupcake at lunch, but it was good on the dinner dessert too.

We thought so. All 3 of us really liked our meals, and my daughter's interaction with the Beast was probably the best character experience of the trip.

I didn't know the beast was there. It's not considered a character meal.

We had dinner there when my DD was 2 (2013) and I have to say if was by far one of our most treasured moments of our trip! So much so, it is one of our MUST dos for our 2015 trip! My DD is a huge Beatuy and the Beast fan most specificaly a Beast fan. She was was a very slow talker and her first full sentance ever was "This is just like the movie!" She was mesmerized by the entire experience! Meeting the beast is literally the only thing she still remembers from that trip. We thought the food was fantastic and the amotsphere of the restaurant amazing! Totally worth the hype for us!

We found it really plain and ordinary, nothing special and we really didn't like the cupcakes.

Happy to have done it, won't do it again.

We ate there in April 2013 and had an excellent dinner!! Great service as well. We put it on our must do list.

Then in August 2014, we did dinner again. It was very disappointing. Service was meh...the waitress was nice but she kept forgetting to bring us stuff we'd asked for. And the portion sizes had gotten incredibly small! The quality wasn't there either.

I don't see us going back anytime soon. :(

Lunch was okay both times.

Didn't make it in for dinner. Daughter got sick as we were waiting for our table, so will try it another visit.

Is there some type of show that takes place during dinner that isn't offered during lunch? Is the meet and greet w/ Beast only during dinner? Are there any other characters from Beauty and the Beast?

We prefer lunch to the dinner. It was actually noisier at dinner and between waiting for a table (with an ADR) and sitting, it ate up 2hrs of our time. We liked being able to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere, refill our drinks, etc... that we get with lunch.

I think I would only do it if I was there with just my DH since we can get some drinks. Otherwise we will continue to just do lunch.

We thought so. It is very nice to have a glass of wine or beer to relax in the evening and the food was very good when we last went. The shrimp and scallop puffed pastry was excellent! There's also something about eating there at night that makes it a little more magical.

I found the lunch to be much better. During the dinner service, the waiter spilled water on my husband and dropped a knife on his toe. He also loudly announced that my cake was coming out (it was a surprise for my husband for our tenth anniversary). In addition he kept commenting on how BOG is overpriced for dinner service. It was probably the worst service we ever had at Disney. As for the food, I found it to be a bit salty. The lunch experience (had three times) is much better.

Our reviews: (we think lunch is better than dinner)
LUNCH:
. . . tuna or chicken nicoise - good, but too light on olives
. . . croque monsieur - nice, but Béchamel needs more nutmeg
. . . turkey on a warm baguette - average, nice dijon
. . . roast beef sandwich - tasty, but slightly tough
. . . braised pork - recommended
. . . vegetable quiche - wife liked it (real men don't eat quiche)
DINNER:
. . . pork rack chop - the pasta out-shined the pork
. . . braised pork - recommended
. . . chicken breast - nicely done and recommended
. . . pan-seared salmon - cooked well, but average taste
. . . grilled strip steak - good, but not great
. . . sautéed shrimp and scallops - only average
. . . oven-baked ratatouille - average

Is this the only place you can meet the Beast now? Does he not appear in France anymore? I think this would be the only thing to sway me towards dinner...

We really liked it.

My son loves the warm bread and I enjoy the champagne. Maybe we got seriously lucky but we only had a 5 minute wait, excellent server, sat in ballroom right next to where beast walks in and out. I enjoyed the muscles, the steak I wouldn't order again. My mom really enjoyed the puff pastry with shellfish. We are actually going back this trip just for her.
