Be Our Guest Roast Beef Sandwich

In November, I went to BOG for lunch and ordered my favorite roast beef sandwich. I was super disappointed as the sandwich is now cold and not nearly as good. I'm hoping they have changed it back. Has anyone been there recently and tried to roast beef sandwich?

Wasn't it always cold? I've been getting it since 2014 and I always remember it being cold

No, I have been getting it also for years. It used to be a hot roast beef sandwich on a toasted garlic buttered baguette. Now its cold roast beef on a cold baguette.

Also been ordering this for a few years now. The change to serving it cold was a big disappointment. As far as I know it was a permanent change and I haven't heard anything about it going back. I hope they do eventually though.

Can only say it wasn't always cold. Haven't tried it recently.

It's now cold. We canceled our upcoming ADR.

On the menu in MDE, they removed "served warm" from the description.

Bummer. It was really good.

I canceled our lunch ADR there because of this, as well. Super mad that they messed with it..especially now since it has a bleu cheese horseradish sauce instead of just regular horseradish sauce I'll never understand the change.

Was my fave too but last time just felt dry and underwhelming. Decided to try breakfast there instead next time.

We were there back in November and it had just been switched to cold (per the cast member I asked, it had been cold for a only a few weeks at that point). When asked, the cast member said it was because people had complained that the warm sandwich had made its way out to people cold, so the chef decided to just make it cold. Personally, I don't believe that because mine always came out warm and delicious. It was one of my favorite meals at Disney. I have a reservation in a couple weeks, but I'm just going to cancel. I have no interest in the new sandwich, as much as I love the atmosphere.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it has not changed back and may never change back which is disappointing.
I got the turkey sandwich instead and while I like it its still no roast beef

When we were there the first week of November, we were super shocked that the sandwiches were served cold, so we flagged down a CM and asked. She said the change had been made that week. It was still good, but not nearly as good as served warm. We had a second lunch there later in the week and I changed my order to turkey for the second visit.

We went twice in October one time I got the turkey and one time I got the roast beef. The roast beef sandwich was delicious! Since then it changed to the cold version with the bleu cheese horseradish so I will prob just get turkey twice. I feel like they should change it back, I have not heard anyone saying they liked it better this way.

Curious to know this too - menu says turkey is warm but doesn't say that for roast beef.

Aw, man! This is the one meal for our Disney trip that was already ordered in my brain! I had the turkey when we were there in 2015 and my father-in-law got the roast beef and we ended up switching plates! The warm roast beef was my favorite! I think I'd rather have a luke warm sandwich with a toasted bun than a cold one any day!

I eat cold sandwiches nearly every day for lunch ... not what I want to do on vacation. The Roast Beef was also one of my favorite meals and now I am not sure about going back for lunch either.

As of January, the turkey sandwich was served warm, while the roast beef was cold.

I don't understand why they did this. If they can serve the turkey warm and get it right, why not roast beef?? This sandwich is no where close to as good as the warm one was.
