Be Our Guest Restaurant BREAKFAST MENU!

I'm really disappointed in the menu selection. The Lunch and Dinner selections really carry the cost because of portion size and quality. Too bad they can't take some of the EPCOT french items and put them into the breakfast menu. There are so many opportunities but spending $10 for oatmeal is outrageous.

Nice try, Disney.

They appear to have taken the page down. Reading around, on various blogs....it appears it will be a sit down breakfast, not counter service. Interesting if true. :)

I really like BOG for lunch or dinner, but somewhere is going to need to freeze over before I pay almost $10 for a bowl of oatmeal or a breakfast croissant. What a rip off. And people will happily pay those prices. Boggles the mind.

Yep - must be some spectacular oatmeal for almost $10 a bowl - maybe they put pixie dust in it?

Still depending on the ambiance to sell mediocre overpriced food. And people will line up to buy it.

It seems strange to me how small the menu is and that all the entrees are the same price. Makes me think this is just a mock up they used as a test. Hopefully when breakfast is finally rolled out we'll all be pleasantly surprised.

I agree that this was probably a test. I doubt this will be the final menu. Looking forward to breakfast at BOG :thumbsup2

I think it would be great to be able to eat at BOG for breakfast, but only if they add more to the menu. This just isn't worth it to me....

I just hope they don't turn it into a $35 Character Breakfast. I'd rather pay $10 for my DD's to eat oatmeal then $35 for them to eat oatmeal and a piece of fruit.

I love steel-cut oats, and my first thought was "that's great...a reasonably healthy option." And then I saw the price!

Actually, looking at the menu again, it doesn't seem over priced. What everyone seems to be skipping over is the 2 items with no price. So for that $10 bowl of oatmeal, it looks like you're also getting pastries, and meats with cheeses. Doesn't seem too bad for $10 if you ask me.

It says it's a croissant donut (they retail for about $2.50 at home) with a few banana slices and some caramel sauce and whipped cream squinted on it. I don't see anywhere that anything else comes with it. If you feel the extras are worth the $6.50 up charge over a croissant at your resort food court, then I hope you enjoy it very much. The same over pricing exists with the oatmeal, with identical topping options. But there are doubtless thousands who will pay that. I'm just not one of them.

Some of the other entrees look reasonable and even tasty. I hope the breakfast is a great success. It may make getting my lunch FP or dinner ADR easier to get.
Dunno. French toast is just a few slices of bread fried in egg, but the Tonga Toast is pretty popular. Maybe it's a really big croissant donut? And Mickey waffles with a topping and a bit of bacon are $8 at resort QS, so I don't know that it's too far off from other prices. (Not trying to convince you it's worth it, just musing!)

I think it's going to depend on how they do it and also whether it does come with the starter pastries like someone else wondered. I'd imagine that's the case, or if not, that these will at least have some sides like bacon or potatoes. But we'll see.

I'm just interested to see table service vs. quick service. The drinks are listed as self-serve, which implies quick service like lunch, but that could also be a placeholder in the menu. It just seems like a QS though.

Hopefully they were just testing it out. There's no way I'd pay 10 bucks for one croissant (deep fried or not) or a bowl of oatmeal. Unless we had free dining, and couldn't get in for lunch or dinner.

Bingo!!! The place is so popular adding a meal increases capacity by a third.

Hahah that was my first thought! I can't imagine paying $10 for Oatmeal?! Seriously, Disney? Each grain must have some extra pixie dust to justify a $10 bowl of oatmeal.

Same here! I'm excited about the potential to have an ala carte breakfast option in the park so we can try a pre-park ADR someday. I can't justify the prices to do buffets for breakfast.

I tend to agree here. They gotta be putting gold flakes in that oatmeal before I would pay that much.

I was just going to post the exact same thing !! "BoG" is a must dinner for us, but these breakfast prices are a bit much! Can get so much more for the same price at "Kona"

Wonder if the prices are a typo as they are the same for all the entrees? Maybe why it was taken down.
