After unsuccessfully trying to get reservations for 7 people on NYE I would welcome ideas on how and/or when I might be able to snag this reservation since it’s at the top of my DD’s Christmas list. Also, have you found a particular site for notification to work better than others? Thanks for your help

I've used Touring Plans ADR finder. It's free. You have to jump on the ADR the moment you get notified or it'll be gone.

Really, the method that's worked best for me is stalking the WDW site, looking multiple times a day, every day, for the ADR I want. It invariably shows up. Even hard-to-get ADRs.

However, I've never tried booking for 7 people. For sure someone who has will soon show up on this thread.

Try booking for eight, too. the WDW system often seems to favor even-numbered parties.

I've also noticed difficulty in getting reservations for parties of more than six for quite a few restaurants, but if you have 7 I can't recommend going with 6 and hoping they let you bring an extra in, especially on NYE.
