We went to the MK last summer and wanted to eat lunch at BOG but it was filled up. Has it died down now to where you can get in easily for lunch? Would love to try again when we're there in May. Thanks!
Amanda

We were able to get in quickly, but that's by going before 10:30am and waiting for opening. You definitely can't think "hmmm, it's about 12:30pm, we are getting a little hungry for lunch. Maybe we'll stop in BOG for a bite". It's worth planning around, though, IMO! :thumbsup2

No it has not. Long lines. You may have to wait more than an hour.

You could reserve lunch, it will make it much quicker.

heres a question i asked on another thread but haven't received an answer yet (i did JUST post it so i wasn't expecting it yet).
where do you get the reservation number to put in there? my reservation number for my resort stay has letters and will not work.

I was wondering the same thing. My SIL booked through orbitz and her reservation number has letters and it wouldn't work. She is staying on prop. When I made mine it didn't even ask for a reservation number. I called orbitz yesterday to get the magic code so I can link their tickets but that number also has letters. I hope someone can help!

I solved our problem. Just call disney and ask for the Disney confirmation number that should work.

You use the number attached to your magic bands. If you log into your MDE account and click on magic bands there is a number attached and you enter that for BOG.

i was talking to disney this morning and the confirmation number they gave me still had letters in it. did you call and get something different? what exactly did you ask for and what did you tell them?

we don't have magic bands yet, not sure when we get them but the agent said we would get to pick them at about the 30 day mark. is that correct?

No, the magic bands ship at 30 days prior to arrival. You need to customize before that.

You need to go into you MDE account and hit magic bands and customize them. Make sure you confirm your shipping address. There is a long number next to the pic of your band. Use that.
I called Disney and told them I needed my Disney resort reservation number.
Are you staying onsite? You have to be staying at a Disney resort to get this Fp. My number had letters because it was from orbitz. I told them I was trying to make a fp ressie for Bog and needed disneys number and he have it to me.

Hope this helps

can you only do that after the 180 days? we are at 185 days out.
when i do go into my magic bands it does say to confirm shipping address then it gives me an error message. we are from canada and i know i have to pick them up there on arrival so not sure what i need to do.

as far as calling disney did you call the dinning reservation department or just the regular reservation department?

sorry about all the questions, i just am not getting anywhere. also, thanks for all the help. :)

I'm not sure about the magic bands maybe someone else from Canada will know. I called the basic information number.
1 407 w Disney But I am 50 days out. I was only able to book my BOG fastpass today. You are going to have to wait awhile to book that.

thank you so much for the info. i'll get it done one way or the other, lots of time.

Does this BOG lunch FP count against the first three that we're allowed to reserve ahead of time (staying on property)? We were chatting with the Disney operator over the weekend about various reservations for mid-July (so not within our 60-day window quite yet) and asked this question...they said yes. I ask it again to this group, however, as it seems like I have read in other threads that it does not count against the three (but maybe that was for an original test period only). Thanks -

The BoG FP+ does NOT count as one of the three FP+ that you can get for attractions. It won't show up anywhere on the MDE site or app. The CMs on the phone are absolutely clueless about how the BoG FP+ works and are giving out misinformation rather that admit that they don't know.

Thanks - good to know! In the still fairly uncertain world of FP+ and its various tweaks, I was not too crazy about using a FP for a QS lunch, even at BOG. Very interested to see how the new FP+ adjustments work out over the next few days/weeks.

Sorry to jump in here, but I had a similar question and just wanted to confirm!

We're going down to Orlando day after tomorrow for a last minute trip. We're not staying on property, so (as I understand it) I cannot get a fastpass for Be Our Guest.

So, my question is -- what can we expect the stand by line to be? My four year old would love to eat there for lunch, but my 10 month old will not be up for a long wait when everyone is getting hungry. If we go right when it opens, what sort of stand by line will there likely be (this will be this Friday, May 2nd)? Also, does it open at 11 or 10:30?

Thanks!

We went to BOG this past Friday the 25th. Got there around 1030 and walked right in. When we left at 1130 there were about 6 people in line.

It's really not THAT bad. As a PP said, don't go during peak dining times. Hit BoG around 11 or 11:30 and you shouldn't wait more than 30 minutes, TOPS.
