The general consensus was that one could get a reservation up until 6:55 with the party at 7:00. My recent experience is showing that for Nov. 15, the last reservation offered on line is 6pm. We were looking for earlier though.

I believe that it has been commented somewhere else that the reservations for party nights are earlier than last year

I don't have the exact times but someone has posted them. I want to say ressies without a party ticket stop at about 4:45 now. They are trying to get all non ticketed guests out prior to 7 regardless of dining this year.

That's good to know! We are doing two MK days, one a MVMCP night, the other leaving at 7, BOG dinner is a must. Is it better to do the dinner on a party night?

Thats was my guess as to why. Last time we did a party they were pretty good at herding people out. This must just make it easier.

We have a 6:55 on a party night, must have tickets to attend the dinner.

For MNSSHP, BOG is allowed for non-party guests for ADR times to 6:15.
If your ADR is 6:20 or after, you MUST have a party wristband.

At CRT for MNSSHP, last call for non-wristband is 5:55.

How do you know you need party tickets for your ADR? Were you informed somehow when you made the reservation? I have BOG at 5:25pm on a party night. We are not attending the party that night. Will we be turned away at the door?

It will come up when you make the dining reservation

It will state it before it allows you to confirm the reservation, it was brief but there.

5:25 is fine per the site for MNSSHP. It's if your ADR is 6:20 or after.

Last year they opened up BOG reservations during the MVMCP in October or so. They were still letting people in right up until 7 (people in front of us had 7:15 reservations, no wristbands - and they let them in around 6:30 when we got in with 6:30 reservations). Makes sense that they're tightening that loop-hole this year.

I booked a BOG dinner at 6:55 on a party night... We will take our time having dinner than leave. I made the reservation online and it never stated that I had to have MNSSHP tickets.

You will be called, and you will need to make a decision, cancel or buy tickets. The time frames for ADR's changed this year and I believe there will be no wiggle room for guests without tickets to the party. If I was in your position I would just be proactive so I am not faced with that decision upon entry for dinner, because while DIsney is pretty lenient when it comes to assisting guests who are impacted with circumstances beyond their control, they are not known to remove noshow charges willy nilly They will most likely charge the fee under these circumstances.

Yeah, you might want to check your confirmation. Most people, in all their excitement of actually getting the reservation, just blow right past the warnings about requiring a party ticket to dine during that time. It's not in red flashing letters, but it's there.

As others have said...I would expect some communication from Disney requiring you to either buy tickets to the party, or cancel the reservation. Happened to everyone who booked last year during party time who didn't have a ticket.

This may seem off-topic, but it just my idea of why the ADR are having to be earlier without a ticket. At 7:00 is there big push to get people out of the parks without wristbands, and then it relaxes of a bit after about 8:00. So people I'm sure would get a last minute ADR, and drag it out as long as possible to hang out for the party.
We were at the MVMCP last year and planted ourselves right in front of the castle for the parades and shows, and it was kind of amazing how often they were coming through and back through again to get people out of the park without wristbands. Clearly there are people trying to beat the system and avoid getting kicked out of the park by hiding somewhere so they can stay for the party for free. Although there is always that possibility that they walk past everyone checking and just not realize there is a special event going on. We saw a group being escorted to the front around 10:00 last year, which just makes us think, they just got to hang out for over half the party without paying.
