I see BoG is now on the DIS site for restaurants. It says Dining Plan - No. Here I was hoping to snag an ADR for free dining here. Do you think this just needs to be updated?

It is listed On the 2013 dining plan brochure and Disney Parks Blog has indicated that it will be one CS for lunch and one TS for dinner.

Disney itself, however, says it's on the dining plan. Go with Disney.

I'm sure this has been asked already, but did they release an opening day for BoG?

No, but in an annual passholder newsletter, it mentioned AP holders would get a preview near the end of Nov. It appears it will open to the public sometime in Dec.

Thanks so much, guys. I am hoping it is open for our trip - we are there from Nov 27 - Dec 7 and aren't AP holders. I think I need some pixie dust.

Ah this iPad - I can't seem to send myself any pixie dust. Anybody have any to spare?

Gustons is 1 QS for lunch and no ressies needed news letter said yesterday.

Has it been mentioned what will be served at Gaston's Tavern? Wonder if it will be similar to the BOG lunch menu? I'm guessing not, since it really wouldn't make much sense. Is GT going to be TS for dinner like BOG will?

Everything I have read (which isn't much) indicates that it will strictly be a CS restaurant. No menu released that I am aware of.

I thought I read that BOG would be 2 CS credits for lunch and 1 TS for dinner.... Is it just my imagination or is there something about it? :D

I'd bank on 1CS for lunch and 1TS for dinner.

I've never heard of a double-credit CS - not that it's impossible, just that it isn't done.

I'm guessing you are right! :D just thought I read it somewhere... Tried to search, but only found this: http://www.talkdisney.com/forums/wdw-restaurants/48058-our-guest-2-dining-credits.html
I can see why Disney would make it 2 CS credit, because it is something in between QS and TS - although I think it would be kind if crazy! :p

But in the Dining Plan brochure it looks like it's 1 CS credit for lunch and 1 TS for dinner ;)

Btw... Does any of you know something about if you will be able request which dining area you would like to dine in, when reservations open?

Highly doubtful.
However, people who make polite requests at the check-in podium, and who are willing to wait for what they want, are generally granted their wish...:goodvibes
