Forgive my newbie question! This will hopefully be our first trip to BOG. We are going to try for lunch and I realize you order from screens. Is it possible to get a sandwich without sauce or change something like that when ordering this way? Or are you just stuck with the way the meal comes? Thanks for any help! :D

Yes, you have the choice to have a sandwich without sauce, it appears to screen.

And you can pre order on Disney site or via my Disney expérience app 45 days before your reservation and see what is your possibilities (without aragula for beef sandwich or sauce)

We were there for lunch a few weeks ago and the CM took our order. My son got his sandwich with no sauce.

Perfect!!! Thank you both very much!

Even if you pre-order, they will still go over your order with you when you check in at BOG the day of your ADR. You can make any changes or special requests at that time as well. My daughter wanted the sauce for her sandwich on the side. There's no option for that when doing the pre-order so I ordered it without the sauce. When we reviewed our order at check-in, I requested the sauce on the side -- which we ended up just needing to ask a CM for once we were seated.

Great to know! Thank you!

If we preorder, can someone still change their choice when we check in? I ask because my family will roll their eyes at me when I tell them I want to pre order. "I don't know what I want to eat tomorrow, how am I going to know what I want to eat in a month..." I can hear it now.

Or does that defeat the whole purpose of preordering?

Sorry to hijack this thread.

Perfect...great idea. Thanks.

You can preorder on your phone 5 minutes before you walk into the restaurant.

Denise

I can't decide that far in advance either, so we ordered the night before or the morning of -- can't remember. But you do still have the option to change your order at check-in that day.

Hijack away! :D This is all good stuff to know!

I am going to hijack too. My reservation is for 8 people. 3 families each on the dining plan. If I order for everybody I am assuming we can split up the payment at the restaurant? Also, can my 6 year old order off the adult menu. I thought that the dining plan now allowed for that but I just read a conflicting report.

A child can order off of the adult menu for breakfast or lunch since it is QS. For dinner they must order off of the kid's menu since it is TS.

Whether QS or TS, everything that Disney puts out officially states that children 3-9 must order from the children's menu where available.

When you pre order for the dining plan, can you swap out a soup instead of the dessert? Or would you all suggest ordering normally (entree, drink, dessert) and making the substitution when you confirm your pre order there.

that might be what they say but that's not how it works.
Just because the system is not set up to enforce the rules does not mean that rules don't exist.

If you preorder, I would do so with the substitutions you want to make. That way you only need to confirm how it's charged, rather than redo the entire order. That's how the CM I spoke with advised me to do it.
