Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

Hi-I have a question and I'm sorry if it's already been answered, but there are LOTS of pages in this thread. :) I signed into my account with my reservation number and then realized my parents weren't in there (they're on their own res). I changed to their reservation number to see if it would be possible to make both of our reservations separately through my one mde account, since they don't have one set up. I'm not even sure how I did it now, because it's no longer an option to change res numbers. Now when I sign in, it's only giving me my parents' names. There is a place to change the names, but we have 3 people in our party and they only have 2. I wouldn't be able to add our 3rd person. When I sign in to the BOG now, it says "welcome [my mom's name]" but when I sign into regular mde, it says my name. Has anyone had this happen? Has anyone been able to make FP for people under more than one res #?

You will need to make 2 reservations. One for each resort reservation. You will still be able to dine together. Just make your reservations for overlapping times. They will need an account to sign in with. You can do this for them if they don't have an account. It doesn't have to be a MDE account, just a Disney account. I made one for my Dad so that I could make reservations for both his room and my own. When I made the reservations, I had 2 separate browsers open and was signed into both accounts. I then made both reservations for overlapping times. It worked great! Hope that helps some!

Do you mean the 20th?

No, I meant the 13th. I should've clarified! It had been rumored that if you use the link without an email, Disney won't honor it. This isn't true! Walked right up, told them we had a fastpass, they asked for our last name and we were taken right on in!! No problems at all!!!

I've seen a few posts asking this question, but can't seem to find an answer. For those who have booked, when your 28 window opens what time of the day are you able to reserve the FP? Does the window open up at midnight or sometime in the morning?

I searched this whole thread (using the search tool, not page by page) and still have questions regarding the BOG FP.

We are going with another couple and we'll be staying at the Swan checking in 10/19 and they will be staying at YC checking in on 10/20.

1. Is the Swan eligible for booking BOG FP+? (I would assume NO)
2. Can they book FP+ for 10/19 lunch - they are staying off property 10/17-10/20 and have AP

We tried getting ADRs @ 180+10 with no luck, I'm halfheartedly checking every so often, but with MNSSHP 4 of the 6 days we're there (which we are not attending), I really don't want to spend the limited park time sitting and eating, especially since its my DWs first visit! I'd rather make sure we see all 3 Fireworks shows (Wishes, Illuminations, and Fantasmic). And lots of time at FWF too!

Ideally we'd get lunch on 10/19 or 10/24, our MK days. I would not complain about a late dinner on 10/20 or 10/22 since I want DW to see Wishes, but I'm not holding my breath.

You will need a Disney resort reservation number. Swan/Dolphin will not work. Off-site on 10/19 will not work. Your best bet is to have your friends make their FP+ reservation for 10/24 while the are at YC and see if they can add you at the podium. I have no experience with this, but my guess is that you do not lose anything trying.

oh rats, its a FP+ (duh!) not an ADR so they can't make it for 4 people. Total bummer...thanks for the info, looks like it might be standby for us :crowded:

Can you book at midnight or 6 am?

I did a couple test runs before it was the day that I wanted to book, and the magic time for me each night was 2:30 am!!!!???!!! For what it's worth I'm in EST which is the same as WDW.

Given the consistency and design logic of the rest of the BoG booking system, there's probably some graveyard shift cast member who has to remember to load the new availability every night, probably between other jobs or while he's having a break and eating his sandwiches at his desk. :)

Tried at 12-12:30... Not available. Tried at 4:30 am... Got them!!!

This makes me nervous, are they filling up quickly too? We head out the end of August. The only date that really works is the 27th, and although my kids have me up daily by 6:30am. I don't think I can handle getting up in the middle of the night to book the lunch. I do always go straight to the computer with my coffee for 20min of quite wake up in the morning though will I be to late at 6:30am?

I think you'll be fine. Booked mine for August 7 at 6:30 a.m. Keep refreshing your window until you get the time you want. I don't get the feeling they book too quickly. I had lots of options at 6:30. Good luck!

We are able to book our regular fastpasses but our entire vacation is showing no availability for Be Our Guest Fasspasses. We are looking for Sept 19 is it possible they are booked already or are they just not available yet? Any recommendations are welcomed

Sorry if this has already been answered - but can BOG FP+ overlap times for other fp+ reservations I have made?

It's too soon... Like 28 days out try...

What are the times lunch is served for Be Our Guest?

So if I understand correctly, I cannot make this FP reservation unitl about 28-30 days out?
Not like regular FP such as rides which are a few months before our trip?

Thanks

They do not fill up. It's very common to get spots the day before you want to eat there. No worries. PP just meant that they didn't roll over the new date till sometime between the times they checked.

You understand correctly.

Folks, it's really not complicated, I promise. So many seem to freak out because it's different but it's not hard. You start checking about 30 days out, each day. When it opens you'll see times. When it's not open, you'll see it say not available. The chances of it selling out are just about nill. I am not sure why so many have a problem wrapping their minds around the fact that it doesn't open till closer till your date. Post after post of people in a panic because their Sept (for example) dates are not open. If any posts are repeated here time and time again it's what dates are open right now.

I booked my trip from AAA. I have tried the above suggestions to find reservation # on disney.com. Does anyone know to find reservation number booking with AAA?
I can only find confirmation # which does not start with 44.
I am almost 28 days out for my trip so trying to figure this out.

thanks K:confused3
