Hello all! I have been to WDW eight times in the past two years and still HAVE NOT had the opportunity to dine for dinner at Be Our Guest. My upcoming trip is 42 days away (and counting), and I am heading there to celebrate my college graduation.
I am determined to get a reservation at Be Our Guest for dinner on my trip. Any advice? I know this is the most popular restaurant right now in the Magic Kingdom, and it will not make or break my vacation for me, but I'd like any and all advice.

Thanks in advance!

Just keep checking. We picked one up for 4 for our trip that's 17 days away. I've actually found 2, switched to earlier time. I find if I look early in the morning (7am et) I have better luck finding stuff.

Go to Touring Plans web site. They have a free reservation alert system. They will alert you when they find your desired reservations available. It is up to you to act quickly to log in to your MDE account and secure the ADR.

Thanks so much for the info!

If you are staying on site, you can make dining reservations online at 6:00 a.m.

Their trip is 42 days away, though, so they are long past the 180 day mark.

I would just use Touring Plans ADR finder. We used that and were able to get Ohana and BOG within a month before our trip. Don't get discouraged because most people won't cancel until it gets closer to their trip.

The experience of dinner there is absolutely not worth the headache of trying to get the reservation. One of the worst meals and experiences I've ever had, top 3. To each their own though, good luck to you. I find that if you wait until 7 days before arrival loads of things open up because people will cancel or switch. I have my best luck with reservations within the week before arrival, and the morning of the day we want to go. Just keep checking.

Just to add to this advice (TP reservation finder has worked great for me)...I receive TP text alerts faster than the email alerts..I recommend setting up both. Also, there is a link in the text message you will receive if a reservation is found...it should take you directly to the available reservation (as long as it hasn't been scooped up) even if you have to log in along the way. Good luck

I've heard that more than I've heard good things about the place! Our wedding is Beauty and the Beast theme, so its more about the experience of actually dining in there than it is eating itself. Which is sad that it has to be a choice between the two. But thanks for your input!

If you aren't already, start following the May 2018 Cancellation thread on the Disney Dining Reservations forum (under Disney Restaurants forum). DISers post ADRs that they are planning to cancel, sometimes with the opportunity to plan timing that will facilitate another DISer picking it up. (Instructions in the first post of the thread.....note that you have to have at least 10 Dis posts to be eligible for "conversation" with someone who has posted a cancellation .)

This is how I got a good bog adr. I coordinated with someone on the board and we scheduled a time (I think it was at like 3 am) or something so there would be less of a chance that someone else would take it. Worked well for us.

Our dinner meals at BOG have always been a positive experience. Everyone has different opinions about what they like or dislike at any given place to have a meal. I can only suggest that you try it for yourself. Keep checking for an opening, as well as using the reservation finder (it really works). Enjoy your trip!

Stalk the reservation site as much as you can. In all of our years of multiple trips I have never NOT been able to get a dinner reservation at BoG within 15 minutes of the time I wanted it for by doing this. Reservation finders do work BUT I have found you have to be logged in and already at your computer when you get the text message or someone else will get it before you. For this reason I have always had better luck stalking the system on my own.

Check at 30 days out (when people cancel packages if they decide they can't go or things change)....and stalk in the last week or so.
