I know lunch is quick service and dinner is table service but is there really that big a difference ?
We have had lunch there and enjoyed it. Should we try dinner also?

The menu is different, and you can drink wine and meet the Beast at dinner. If you like the theming/atmosphere, you should definitely try dinner.

Love dinner - food options, atmosphere, beast - all things different lunch from dinner

We did both during our January trip. The dinner was my favorite dining experience of the whole trip. The lunch was not that good. We had a second lunch reservation for later in our trip that we ended up canceling because no one wanted to go back for lunch.

We loved meeting Beast! We enjoyed our dinner there. It's less hectic as well because it's table service so no trying to find a table and getting drinks, etc. We've had breakfast and lunch there as well and did enjoy those meals too!

Dinner is a totally different menu and experience than lunch.
If dinner is of interest to you, you should do it. Peoples opinions are personal and may or may not be the same as yours. Do what you want

I think we will do dinner. Last year we had a dinner reservation and cancelled it.

All the way dinner! We always do a few ADR's there- usually one for breakfast, one for lunch and 2 for dinner.
Dinner is the best. The atmosphere goes from a bit hectic at breakfast and lunch to much more relaxing at dinner.
We love the menu. The kids love the desserts. :)
And bonus points for the Beast being there!

Have a great time!

Dinner is a great experience. The room that you order your QS meal in at the registers becomes a M&G with Beast for dinner. Minus the registers of course! The food quality is superior and the waiter we had was extremely professional, it felt like a signature dining experience to us. Maybe it is?? I dunno! But, it is way more expensive than lunch, and nothing really changes in the dining area itself between lunch and dinner besides having waiters, better food and the Beast M&G. If something does change, we didn't notice it! We were very glad we did it, but we are Disney Suckers who enjoy throwing our money at anything shiny and pretty at Disney!!

Dinner sounds like it would be good and fun with the beast. Now to figure out where to work the reservation in.

I think dinner is a better value. It's more expensive, but the food amount and quality is much better, unless you are just getting a cup of soup. It's a better experience overall.

We have been looking at pictures of the food and the food looks yummy. I think I will order the steak, I have read good things about it.

DS likes the kids steak. If you are not a big eater, it's a good value. I like the shrimp and scallops, and of course, a nice glass of champagne or sparkling can make the rest of the evening a very nice relaxed affair:)

I just booked an ADR for lunch at BOG. Im hoping a dinner spot opens soon as I would prefer to go during dinner. We are going in May this year. Hopefully we get the dinner ressies :) fingers crossed!

Definitely do dinner. I've recently tried both and lunch was no comparison to dinner. The dinner was so good that I thought, "how can lunch be bad?" It was average at best and we both decided that we would never bother with lunch again. It ended up just as expensive as a table service meal and it was pretty chaotic standing in line and telling the guy at the counter your order, finding a seat etc...just a mess IMO.

Lunch was nice but Dinner was so much better... all around experience much better

Would the kid size steak be enough for a teen girl along with an appetizer and dessert? She is not thrilled with the entree menu but does want one of the appetizers and a dessert.

I guess it depends how much she eats, but probably. DS11 isn't a big eater. He was happy with the steak and didn't bother eating the side. The steak is on the small side, but I can't remember the actual weight. But with an app or soup, the steak, its side, and a dessert, that would probably be fine. They do have an adult steak that could be made without the butter and herbs probably. I don't know how big the adult steak is either.

I like dinner at BOG, but hate to use a credit on the dining plan because I don't think the desserts are worth it. This is always an OOP meal for me.
