(Long) BOG Question: I know I could call WDW to get an answer to this but I am trying to avoid sitting on hold forever. I made BOG lunch reservations for 11:40am for a party of 8. (My family of 4 + our friend's family of 4) Both families are on the DDP. After asking here if we would be allowed to pre-order our food and still "pay" separately, it was determined we should make 2 separate reservations and then just look for a table together. We both logged in at the same time and checked for available times and both were showing 11:25am so we both clicked to reserve that time slot. Our friends secured the 11:25am slot for their family. However, there was apparently only one 11:25 a.m slot as it kicked me out without securing that time. I still have the 11:40 time reserved for a Party of 8. The only other time shown is 10:40am. If I call WDW, would they be able to separate the Party of 8 into 2 reservations OR should I keep that 11:40am reservation and just show up with my Party of 4? Would we be charged for "no shows" for the other 4? We were thinking since the times are only 15 minutes apart, it wouldn't be that big of a deal and could still eat together. Hope that made sense and I appreciate any tips or info.

Snack Question: Is there a comprehensive list of ALL the items that are eligible as a Snack credit and where to purchase them? I know the basics like that a piece of fruit, etc. is a snack credit. What I'm looking for as a detailed list of what snacks are available and where. Thanks !

You won't be charged as long as someone in your party shows up for the ADR, and you're planning on that, so no worries. You can probably even go in together at the earlier time. I would at least try to. They may make the second party wait, but I doubt it.

As to a snack list, the most current is over on the Dining Plan sub-forum. It says 2014, but everything on should still be snack credit. There are now a few more things that are eligible, but that should at least get you started. It's just too difficult to keep the list updated.

Thank you for the quick reply. Will I be able to pre-order my family's meal since I would only be ordering for half of the party?

We travel with a party of 7, two separate rooms/dining plans. I always make one reservation. I don't typically pre-order our food, but after we check in we just get in line and order/pay as parties of 3 and 4 then sit all together. It's worked great for us. So if you want to use the reservation for 8, you could do that. Waiting in line did not add a lot of time to our lunch.
