Be Our Guest breakfast thoughts?

Looking at the menu, I don't see the "cupcake" option, though I've read about it on the boards. I only see 19.99 entrees. Is it still available? Thanks!

If you're seeing breakfast entrees for $19.99, you need to look at a new menu. Prices have gone up twice since the menu you're looking at, and items have been added/changed.

Was on Allears.net. Is there an updated resource? Thank you :)

If I have a 9:20 BOG reservation and the park opens at 9 will they let me into the park early at all?

We went for an 8AM PPO reservation at BOG in early May and I think we're also one and done on BOG breakfast. We were sitting by 8:05 but they didn't bring our food until 8:40 and when it arrived it was not really very good (cold and flavourless).

We've tried all 3 meals here and the venue is very nice (although the main ballroom can get very loud) but the food doesn't do the venue justice. For us we might do lunch here again but breakfast and dinner were both pretty average.

We would be in the one and done camp if it weren't for the fact we are on the DDP for our next visit- using it as a CS credit for 1 PPO breakfast. When I went w/my 4 yr old in April, I just ordered a cupcake for me, and a kid's meal for my DD which came with a drink and the pastries. I paid $20ish OOP and was able to catch one ride on 7DMT (there was actually a delay of it starting and it did not start until after the 9am opening). Food quality is meh. It's not awful, but the cost of the entrees for adults is not worth it if paying OOP.

Did the kids' meal come with the "normal" pastry tray, or something smaller, since an adult meal wasn't purchased? Thanks!

We have never done the BOG breakfast. The prices look pretty outrageous and entrees not terribly filling. Has anyone had any experience with it and wouldn't mind sharing? Also is this a character dining? Do you get to see Belle and the Beast or is it simply just a breakfast?
This is not a character meal. It is more of an atmospheric meal, as you get to eat in the Beast's castle. My son really enjoyed it for that reason. We ate there in January and enjoyed the food- just the right amount for breakfast. A bonus is that if you have a pre-park opening reservation and finish early enough, you can get onto Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ahead of the rope drop crowd.

Will they let adults order from the kids' menu? The crepe and French toast sound much better than any of their adult offerings.

Yes. I've ordered off the kids menu several times. Although, we've used the advance ordering system when we've gone for breakfast & lunch.

Yes - we ordered the kids french toast for my husband. We also used the advanced ordering, but I dont think you'd have a problem if you waited to order there.

i was never really interested in BOG for breakfast until I read this thread, now I've got a 9:05 reservation for October. It's just me, what are the odds an earlier one will open up? And does rope drop at MK let everyone in a few min early like Epcot?

I'd say you can probably find an earlier one. You'll have to check daily or sign up for TP reservation finder. Its good to check back at 30 days prior as well. Rope Drop at MK is generally at 8:45, so if it is a 9am open, then they won't let you in the park early with a 9:05 reservation.

My husband and I had breakfast there yesterday. We ordered one adult meal - the "feast" with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, & potatoes and one children's oatmeal. They brought out two fruit bowls even though the oatmeal did not cone with fruit (very nice). Between these two meals and the pastries we we were stuffed.

I did not think the $40 was outrageous - especially with two coffees and huge juice.

Food was good. Not great but good.

It was awesome bring on Main Street early. So many photo pass stops!
