Be Our Guest ADR- How long before we are done?

I called at 180 days (+7) and got ADRs for our party of 11 at Be Our Guest on 9/20. My problem is, the ADRs are at 6:15 and we are doing MNSSHP that evening which starts at 7. How quickly can we expect to be done with our meal? I don't want to miss too much of the beginning of the party!

Anyone have any experience with dining times at Be Our Guest?

My experience was from December, so maybe it is diffrent by now. But we had a 5:30 on a night we were going to MVMCP. We got seated 20 or so minutes late and when we were finished the party had already started, it was about 7:15. We all got apps and dessert, though.

If seating is still running that late, imo chances are slim you would be out by 7. I would get your wristbands before dinner.

I don't know precisely about BOG, but I typically estimate at least 1 hour from sit down to walk out. This does not include time between checking in and getting sat!

I also have 0 experience with large parties so unsure how that will affect the "getting sat" timing. Lastly, I have 0 knowledge of how BOG typically runs (I know 'Ohana and Crystal Palace are both infamous for running behind schedule!), so that may also add time. I'm real helpful.

With a party of 11, chances are you're going to be a little slower than a standard 2-6 or so, so plan on that as well.

Realistically, I think you'll be out no earlier than 7:30, but more likely 8:00. A party of 11 is going to take longer to be seated, order, have courses served, eat, etc than a party of 4 or 5. Add to this the fact that BOG typically runs behind schedule. Since they start seating for dinner at 4:00, by 6:15 I would expect at least a 15-30 minute wait. Then, too, if you have kids they'll probably want to meet the Beast for the photo op after you finish eating and also walk around to see the rest of the castle rooms.

Thanks! I am hoping to be done by 7:30 but won't be upset if it's closer to 8. We have no agenda for MNSSHP other than finding a dance party to join because DD9 really enjoyed that when we went when she was 4.

We don't have any "must see" characters and plan to just wander about, trick or treat, and ride the rides!

If we aren't seated within 20-30 minutes or so of our ADR, I'll be pretty annoyed. If it takes them too long to seat us and we decide to skip it, will they charge me?

Yes, more than likely they will.

There aren't many large tables so you might be able to reduce your wait time if you let them know when you check in that you don't mind being split up. If being seated together is important than it often takes longer for adjacent tables to open up at the same time.

Also, the Disney ADR system isn't a reservation for a specific time. There isn't a table reserved for your group that will be ready at 6:15, but instead it's to be put on the wait list for a table. As much as possible restaurants try to seat you close to your ADR time, but BOG tends to run behind schedule.

If you decide to skip BOG because you don't want to wait, I think you should be prepared to pay the $10 per person fee.
