Someone just listed 7 day park hopper plus tickets for $150 buy it now on ebay. That price looks a little too good to be true. I emailed the seller to ask how many plus options were on it, he emailed me back and said the ticket is $150.00. I emailed him back and said I realize that, but how many plus options are on it. He replied that there is one plus option. That seems strange because I always thought 7 day hoppers had 3 plus options (I could be wrong though). So I emailed him back to ask if it was an actual park hopper that included admission to all the four theme parks as well as one plus option or if it's JUST a plus option ticket. He just replied back and said yes, that's right it includes admission to the parks and one plus. Do you think this is legit? Do they normally sell tickets 7 day hoppers with one plus option?

Just wanted to give ya'll a heads up in case you are thinking of purchasing one of these on ebay without asking the guy questions :)

We bought the 7 day hopper at WDW in November and I believe it had 3 plus options. I know it was more than 1 because we went to Typhoon Lagoon twice.

Okay. All the passes I have found online had 3 plus options as well. Maybe this person used 2 of their plus options already (but then again they have 7 tickets, so I dunno).

I think I'm going to for sure pass on this one then. I want to save money, but I don't want to get scammed in the process

I wonder if it's the person I wrote asking if those were actual tickets, and got no response.

You aren't thinking of buying from ebay are you?

did you ask how many days were left out of the original 7? Can you post a link to the auction?

My 7 Day Park Hoppers I bought from Ticketmania have 4 plus options.

I love to save a buck or two - but I would never buy tickets off of E-Bay. You won't know until you get there whether you were ripped off or not - and you have no recourse but to buy new, gate price tickets.

I would NOT buy tickets on EBAY. You have NO idea what is really left and NO way to check.

Yes, maybe you can get your money back if you pay via a PayPal account but that is not going to happen until AFTER you buy new tickets at Disney!

I've never had a problem buying tickets on eBay. I check feedback, I ask questions, pull contact info as soon as I bid, and am as careful buying those, as anything I buy on eBay. There are often very good ticket sales of unused DW tickets (cancelled vacations, etc). I don't find ticket buying any different than buying any other high priced on eBay. Out of all the tickets bought, I only remember two times that someone on this board talked about a problem..and if I remember right, that problem was someone they didn't know seen at the turnstile. Another gal posted about her girlfriends sisters cousin (or something like that) having a problem. I think it is way more dangerous to buy of the streets in Orlando..nothing to check, no one to go back to.
Anyone on this board actually buy a WDW ticket from a eBay seller with good feedback and have a problem?

Here is the link and all of the sudden the guy is not a registered user!! I knew it was too good to be true!!

I have seen some reputable sellers on there. One is Ticket Momma or something like that. They have a company in orlando and you can order from their site or from ebay. I would only buy tickets after asking a lot of questions and checking the feedback to make sure this person has sold tickets in the past AND emailing those people that bought tickets to make sure they are valid.

Of course this seller had no other ticket feedback and with such a cheap price, it screamed "SCAM!!"

I have bought tickets multiple times on ebay and do the same thing. Check feedback and I have had no problems. In fact one time the ticket actually had one more day then they told me!

That is weird- it says he has 137 feedback 100% positive-
I would never buy park passes on eBay- I am a big fan of eBay but I can't imagine anything worse than getting ready to start my trip - all excited going in to the park- and BUZZKILL- sorry this ticket is not valid.

Maybe he didn't pay his bill....who knows. None of his feedback is for park tickets though.

Almost looks like his account was hijacked. He had three of those tickets up..and, although that is the exact same auction as the person I wrote to..it's not the same person (same pic, same write-up, etc)! Very interesting.

Several years ago I bought two tickets with one day each left. When I went to use the tickets, only one had one day left. I wasn't sure which ticket I bought from which auction so I just let it go. My loss! Lesson learned.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm sure that was a disappointment..but it's too bad you didn't keep the info and give the seller a chance to reimburse you (you prob would feel better about it now, and more likely to buy again)..especially if he had good feedback. I woudl have given you back the amount it cost you to get in, if I had sold you a bum ticket. Stuff happens even on my own auctions (luckily, I've had some understanding people..especially when I mixed up two orders in two different countries!), and I hope my buyers would get back to me, and let me make it right. I'm not saying that there aren't cheaters out there..but if the feedback is good, and you get their contact info, there is much less chance of anything going wrong..just like with any eBay buy. If someone is a constant buyer on eBay, and takes the same precautions, I don't think they have anymore chances of being cheated on WDW tickets, than anything else on eBay. I personally wouldn't hestitate to buy, as long as I felt I did my homework.

Another thing..if the seller acts weird when you ask questions stay away..

I'm not ready to buy yet, but I'd like to see how the auctions end up and what feedback is left afterwards. A couple of the sellers look like they do this often, and I'd tend to trust them more than someone who has no +ve feedback related to Disney tickets.

From what I've seen you can get good deals on tickets - but there is that element of risk involved. I haven't decided yet whether I'm willing to risk it!

That person had a 100% feedback, absolutely no negatives and was from Canada. I am thinking more a language barrier than scam.

I have no doubt it was a scam. The person never sold a disney ticket before on ebay, they are not registered anymore and DMRick said she saw the same exact wording on another auction with a different name. The account was probably hijacked and the REAL seller or ebay caught on.
