Be carefull with the crowds

To all of us who hang bags from the strollers, please be careful. I was picked pocked this weekend during the MVMCP. I saw her removing her hand from behind my stroller. When I checked my bag. My wallet had been opened and my money was gone. I did contront her after the parade. I let her know I work for the police department and I was able to get my money back. I did not have her arrested ( I should have, but there was no security near me and I was by myself with my 3 yr old). It was a young couple with a young a small little girl. Just be carefull, she might have been doing this all day long.

What a way to start my 3 day weekend at the World.

Oh my... how lucky were you to see her and to confront her to return your $! I don't know if I would have been that brave. Hope the rest of your trip was magical and you did not let these "people" ruin your holiday.

Oh no! How awful. I know they are dorky, but I always wear my fanny pack and put my money on the inside pocket closest to my body for fear of this.

How horrible...so happy tho you were able to confront her and get your money back. She sounds like she has done this before.. I too carry my money close to me...pretty scary...thanks for warning us...

Yes, I have learned my lesson
