Be careful with your credit cards at Sanford

I am soooo MAD

On this last trip to Florida I used cash the whole trip except at the airport (Sanford) coming home when I used my Visa Debit card for one purchase.

I've now checked my statement and someone has used my card details to buy something in San Fransisco. Luckily I took money out at Manchester Airport upon my return so the bank can see that I was back in the country but I am so mad that just using my card once someone has stolen the details.

It's even more of a pain as I have now had to cancel my one and only card and still have Christmas shopping etc to do.

Just be careful with your cards people!!!

Sounds like a case of 'double swipe' where a cashier puts the card through an illegal reader and the genuine till. Unfortunately, this can happen almost anywhere

it can happen anywhere im afraid. these people are very skillful. all it takes is one slight of hand and boom they have your details. not to mention the hundreds of other ways they can try and spoof your info without even seeing your card.

I made a BIG mistake. I bought something off the internet when I got back from a US based company. Big apologies to Sanford airport
