be careful waitlist when cancel reserv

Wow--I canceled an Aug. DVC reservation last month. On that reservation, we were wait listed for our final night. Today, when talking to MS about Dec reservation, she happened to mention, "do you still want your WL for Aug?" I assumed when the reservation for Aug. was canceled that the last night WL was canceled also--WRONG.
So, keep track of those wait lists and remember to cancel them if your plans change. And, THANKS, MS for noticing! Elaine

Thanks for the heads-up! I would have never thought of cancelling a WL either, but since the night was not yet part of the res you cancelled, I can see how that could happen.

it was linked as in, "if AKV becomes avail., auto switch it for that last BCV night." We had a last night at BCV and were trying to get the last night at AKV, where we were staying earlier in the week. When I canceled the BCV night, I wrongly assumed the WL was canceled, as well. Elaine
