Be Careful! Inferno Code Not Working!

Hey everyone! :wizard: I went right on Disney Movie Rewards, and got my inferno magic code. However, when I went on VMK and entered it my code is invalid. I do not know if maybe VMK has not entered the codes in their system yet, or maybe it is so new it just hasn't registered in their system yet. Whatever the case may be I am a little worried since I used all my Disney Movie Reward points and have a code that doesn't work. I am calling Disney Movie Rewards and contacting VMK using the contact link right now. Anyone having similar problems?
 
there has been alot of problems i have read on here and on other fan sites with reward codes in general. Definitely write contact us, a couple people here got their red stitch hats resolved in the past couple of days.
 
650 credits later, the code I was issued does not work. I'm the envy of the kingdom now! I have invisible inferno - 1 of a kind! Seriously. "The code you just typed doesn't match any of our secret codes - please check it and try again." How difficult is it to have codes working when they are issued?

UPDATE: The phone number now tells us that issues will only be handled through Contact Us and any messages left there will not be attended to. Ah, I can feel the magic.

UPDATE2: I called Disney's offices. I was transferred to support for Disney Game Kingdom. Note, this is NOT VMK. The lady I spoke with, although helpful, stated that she cannot help with anything regarding VMK. She said there is no phone support of any kind for VMK as "it is a free game." I explained that they game is free but $150 on movies for 7 codes is not. She understood, but could not assist me any further other than to give me an email address and a phone number for Disney Movie Rewards. Ah, the magic.

UPDATE3: Spoke with a very nice lady at Disney Movie Rewards. She confirmed the code I was issued. She told me that if the code does not work in game, I need to contact VMK through a Contact Us link on the home page. She was not happy to hear that the players refer to that as the black hole, but said there is nothing further she can do to help. When I asked her if I have just wasted 650 points ($150), she did tell me that if I did not have any resolution from VMK within 7-10 days to call back and a supervisor has the ability to look into the situation and decide to reinstate my points. That was nice to hear - although it is not a resolution. So, now I am back to: wait. Magical, huh?

Really no idea what else to try. Real money, Disney. You are a multi-billion dollar company. How difficult is it to coordinate codes in a computer system?
 
Oh no. Please keep us updated. I was saving up for the red Stitch, but now I will hold out for inferno. I should get enough points tomorrow. I'd rather avoid "contact us" if at all possible. Hope your inferno gets to you soon!
 

Yes, please keep us all updated. Hopefully the Inferno code woes will be short-lived.

Anyone else who enters an Inferno code, let us know if it does/doesn't work. Thanks!

Hugs for those of you that received inferno, with the "invisibility" add on. I sure hope VMK is able to resolve your problems in a timely manner.

Thanks for sharing the information to help others that might encounter a similar situation. I really feel for the players and parents that end up in this situation, and don't have a place like Dis to turn to for advice.

Post 3 has the full update. No clue where else to turn at this point. Fun.
 
Hi everyone! So I have gone through the same steps as Disney Dreams. I am assuming like us there are others out there who are having the same problems. I was told like Disney Dreams to issue a letter to contact us, which I did. As soon as I get a response I will keep everyone posted. I am assuming they are having a problem with the codes that they gave out. I am sure if it's happening for multiple people they will fix this issue very fast.
 
I remember this happened awhile back with another code. Forget what the prize was that everyone wanted (Fortress Room I believe), but they ended up with an Ace of Spade's card. Then it took about a week for the code to be corrected. So this is not out of the norm with the VMK codes. Keep persisting it should be fixed soon.
 
Ok I just got a message from VMK help tool, and it said the follow: We are currently experiencing difficulties with codes issued as part of the Disney Movie Rewards program. Please submit your code via the contact us tool for redemption. So anyone that has a code that is not working send it in to VMK using the contact tool on the VMK website. Good to hear they know about the situation, and have a plan to fix it again! Woot VMK thanks for the chance to finally have inferno yay! :banana:

Hi, I contacted VMK through the contact link on the website and included my code as well. However, I also sent them a message in the game to the emergency contact button asking if they are aware of the situation, and that is the message that I received back. I also received a message back from the message I sent to the contact link asking me for my code, the message I am receiving, where I got the code from or how, and what I was suppose to get with the code. So I replyed to that message, and hopefully I will receive a message back from VMK shortly. :woohoo: Can hardly wait to have my very own Inferno!

It was red spacesuit magic. When VMK finally fixed it all of the Spade's carpets became spacesuits. I know it's hard to be patient but I'm sure they'll get it fixed soon.
 
Count me in as one who was issued a bad code for inferno.

I have also followed the same steps by using the Contact Us from VMK but also I contacted Disney Movie Rewards to let them know of the problem. In both of the messages I did include the actual code I was issued in hopes that they can resolve the problem. I have not had any replies back. I did try to include another email address for a reply because my comcast email never seems to receive anything from VMK. I used verizon.net but am still waiting for a reply. In both of the messages sent I also included my VMK name and my email address used for log in.

I can only hope that I hear something today.
 
Just to update people now on the Movie Rewards website it says both the Stitch hat AND Inferno are currently unavailable...
 
I am having a Panic Attack about this inferno code nonsense!!

I really hope they resolve the code issue.. ASAP
