BDL in April question

We have flown out of BDL (hartford CT) for the past 13 trips!!! This year for the first time we are going to brave the April vacation!! What can I expect the best price to see for roundtrip out of BDL to MCO for the 3rd week in April?? Can anyone give me the prices they paid last year? I know things change year to year, but just looking for an idea. Thanks in advance!! Jenny

I'm not much help because we usually fly in May and October but we went third week in April 2007 and paid 293.10 pp and the third week of April 2009 we flew into Ft.Lauderdale and paid 411.00 pp both times on Delta. JMO, I think if you find a flight under 300.00, I would grab it. Just for comparison, we are flying out of BDL this October and I paid 282.10 and that's the most I've ever paid for October.

We flew from BDL in April of this year (return was in early May). We booked the day the 4/3 came out -- so November 6th, 2008 -- and paid $129 each way. Not a great deal but I wanted to lock in the flights we wanted. Both legs eventually went down to $79 each way so we ended up with a ton of credits, some of which we used to change our flight to Saturday and add an extra day on the front end of the trip (we originally booked Sunday b/c it was so much cheaper than the Sat. flights). The rest of the credits are looking like they're going to go unused (some have already expired because we used TTF from a prior trip for the tickets to Orlando).

We're going next April also. I'm hoping for some good fares. We have flown (on Southwest) out of Bradley in the past but last year (April 08) we flew out of Islip on Long Island instead because we saved about $1,000 for four round trip tickets on Southwest. That was actually almost $2,000 less than flying Delta out of Hartford.

Keeping my fingers crossed for good prices!
