Bday Gift for 7 or 8 Year Old Tomboy

Any ideas on what to get a little girl, who isn't very girly? Something small, probably less than $10.

If this is the girl who has the brothers, why not a board game that she could play with them. There are a bunch out there for less then $10.00.

If she likes to read, a book would be good. DD (11) is a tomboy who loves books. Any of those handheld games that are under $10 (like Yahtzee), a movie, etc. Just wouldn't buy anything pink or purple or sparkly or glittery! Good luck! Gift cards always work!

Kmart has those video games that connect directly to the tv on sale for 12.99. They all seem to have a bunch of games in one.

My 9 year old tomboy loves handheld electronics.

There is a new one this year called 20 Q that is really fun to play. (It's 20 questions in an electronic format). There are several sizes available and the smallest runs about $10 at Wal-Mart.

This game is a lot of fun. You can get them for about 6.99 at target and toys r us. I got one for my little cousin adn ds for Christmas. I played with it and had a blast.

We gave my tomboy neighbor(11) body wash and a puff. Not a girly sent, I think it was rootbeer from bath and body. She loved it, it was like she could be that girly girl in the shower when noone was looking.
