anyone ever get a first floor on the side where the walkway is to the BC?

do you like it?

do you have a problem with people looking in?

I don't think I would ever want a first floor no matter where it was, there is no privacy.

When dh, kids and I toured around BCV last trip, one thing struck us -- yikes -- those 1 st floor rooms! Especially those that faced out to where sidewalks ran. Ya could see right on in there... my kids went by one and even noted what was playing on TV. No grd floor (if at all possible) for us.

BUT OTOH... if I ever DID get one, I would convince myself that it was a good thing, by remembering -- no stairs, no elevators. I know friends who always request grd floor pool view so they can walk right out to enjoy a dip.

To each their own.. but not my first choice.

We had ground floor at Beach Club last summer. I did not care for it as you indeed could see right into the room. In addition to that I was nervous with the kids in the other half of the 2 bedroom with such an accessible door to the outside. That being said.. My brother and SIL liked the location, because rather than go inside and down the hall, they stepped on the patio and knocked for us to let them in. They liked that. So I guess it depends on what you are looking for...
