BCV - what do I want to request?

Believe it or not, I've stayed at BCV twice before, but can't remember the pros or cons of either room!

Things I value most: easy access to my car, quietness.
Things that are nice, but take a backseat to those above: view, proximity to the pool.
Things I don't care about at all: proximity to food options, access to buses.

I've looked at the map, but without knowing where building entrances or elevators are, I can't get handle on what area would be best to request. Anyone have suggestions?

ETA: also, where are laundry facilities located?

What size room? Our last stay was in a 2 BR lockoff, room 178. It was great for us. It's the last room at the end of the hall on the first floor, with 3 patios. Right outside our room was the exit door to the parking lot---my FIL kept his car about 20 feet from our room the entire week. Also, you are not supposed to go out the patio and use that as an exit, but the last patio (at the end of the building) has no foliage in front of it so it's an easy access path to the path that leads to the pool. The pool is close as well, as you can walk outside to get to it. I guess you could rent this as a 1BR, Studio or 2BR.

Based on your criteria, it was generally a quiet room (even being that close to the parking lot), and you would definitely have access to the car. Also, by exiting out the patio (or the back of the building) you are only a short walk to the quiet pool. If you look at a map you can see what I'm talking about.

If you want quiet, boy can I make a recommendation. DH is a very light sleeper, yet on our first stay at BCV, he commented on how quiet it was. We were in the "jog" that's about half way down the hall if you get off the elevator and turn right. The rooms to the left face the road, but the right-hand rooms are woods view, and those are nice and quiet. And the laundry is on the fourth floor, so that's a great choice.

Since BCV doesn't really have any views except for pool view, woods view or courtyard view, You might just want to request higher floor.

Thanks all - this helps put a "face" to the map! I'm thinking I could make a request of "high floor near parking" and roll the dice as far as a view goes, since that's less important. And because I seriously have the worst room view luck on the planet. I expect the worst from every hotel stay, WDW or elsewhere, and every once in a while am pleasantly surprised not to see rusted machinery, roof, or dumpsters. :rotfl:

We were in a one bedroom -- requested higher floor and got it. We loved our room which faced the pool and I think the resort entryway beyond. We were pretty far down the hall, quite a distance from the elevator. Loved it because we were able to go down the back elevator and out the door and easily cut through to the parking lot and be on our way to the bus stop.
