Hey everyone.
Taking my 17yr son and 14yr old daughter to Disneyworld the end of August 2017. We've been before and have stayed at WLV and loved it. I'm looking to take them to either BCV standard view or BLT lake view. Looking for pros and cons for each resort. Like the proximity of both resorts to the parks. They each have picked opposite resorts so I'm looking for some input. I'm leaning towards BCV because of the boardwalk and close to Epcot and also a walk to HS. Any input either way would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Boardwalk Villas, not Beach Club Villas has standard view.

If you are thinking of a studio, know that BLT's studio is considered too small for 3 adults by many people who post here. I prefer the Boardwalk's pool and the quiet pool, so I personally would book BWV for an August visit.

We own both blt and bwv. Our kids are little still (3 and 6) so blt is nice for the quick walk, which is why we stay at blt for now.

Hiwever, sisters kids are 14 and 16 and have vastly preferred boardwalk for many years now. We likewise personally prefer the boardwalk area.

To reiterate above-- the blt studios are TINY, so unless magic kingdom is your primary target, I would stay in the boardwalk venues.

Good luck and happy 2017!

Thanks, I am a bit concerned about the size of the rooms and sleeping arraignments? Would need three separate beds. I did read that BCV had a queen, sleeper sofa, and another twin size bed. Is that correct?

It is actually a Murphy bed that is slightly smaller than a twin in BCv and BWV.

BLT is just a queen and a sleeper sofa. So if you need 3 sleep surfaces, your decision is already made against BLT.

I think the murphy bed at BCV is geared toward children. My 26 year old daughter is 5 feet and would fit in the murphy bed if need be. Don't think it would accommodate anyone taller. BCV is a great resort and in a great location. It is within walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well as the Boardwalk resort. The Boardwalk has a fair amount of nighttime entertainment and restaurants as well. My vote would be BCV hands down!!!!

Sounds like the Murphy bed would work. My daughter isn't 5' yet. BCV sound perfect.
