bcv vs blt

Hi I am new to the dvc world. We bought in Nov and this willl be our first trip. Now I had a 40% off code that I used for the beach club resort, but it did not work for all of our dates, so I have booked 3 nights at blt. I was going to try tomorrow at my 7 month mark to get bcv but have they been rehabbed lately? Should I just keep my blt?

I get what you are asking. You booked a cash reservation with a 40% off discount code and booked an additional 3 night at BLT with points, right? I own and love BCV, so of course I say stay there. But I think in your case you may want to do both since you own at BLT and new to DVC. How often can you stay in something brand new? Plus it will give you a taste of 2 DVC resorts. I love BCV, but try to force myself to stay in the other ones. While I do enjoy the others, I am happiest at BCV.

Well I think we are there, LOL! I am staying at the resort BC (not BCV). I also booked 3 nights at BLT. My original idea was try to get BCV since the switch would be easier from BCV to BC, but as I began to think about it, I wondered if I should stay at BLT when it was brand new. I LOVE the BC, in my top 2 of resorts!
I wondered if the Villas had been rehabbed yet.

I am trying to save my points to take my mom and the rest of my family next year, in a larger unit.
