What kind of views are there? The CM from reservation told me either pool views or Epcot views (same points though). He also said pools are eaiser.

Anyone has any idea? Should I bother request one?

I think it's pretty hard to know right now until we get some reports back from people who have stayed in the resort.

We walked around the resort last week, although you can't actually go inside.

IMHO I don't think the Epcot views will be very good. Mostly there's trees back there, and it's also along the road so there may be some traffic noise. If you get the top floor, you might see something. We'll have to wait for first hand reports on that one.

You'll probably be able to see the fireworks somewhat, especially the stuff in the sky. Don't have any idea if you'll be able to see the stuff at lake level. From our walk we couldn't tell for sure where the resort was in relation to Epcot. The large building we could see through the trees looked like the Imagination pavilion so that would put the Epcot view rooms north of Canada, so you would be looking somewhat to your right (south) to see the lake and the fireworks. I could be mistaken and the building could also have been the back of Canada or England, which IMHO would be a better view.

I think the pool view will be the best to request myself.

I also wonder if anyone has seen the lobby. Is it as impressive as BWV? In my opinion, BC lobby wasn't as nice as as any other deluxe lobbies. Maybe the ceiling is too low.

When I made our ressies for Christmas a few weeks ago, I asked if I should make any requests besides non-smoking. I was told that they (MS) didn't really know much about views but many people have been asking for an Epcot view. They also told me that they are very, very limited and they didn't know what types of rooms would have this view.

I opted to request to be close to the pool instead!!!!

I think there is more interior space than at BWV in the lobby and lounge areas. That's kind of nice for those afternoon Florida showers. It'll be interesting to see what kind of lounge area is dedicated to the BCV, like the iron spike room at WLV. But you do have a good point about first impressions, the BWV lobby has more wow factor.

Wasn't there a picture or drawing somewhere of a room like a library at the BCV? Since the check-in will be in the regular BC, I wouldn't expect there to be a big lobby on the BCV side.
