We checked into BCV yesterday. We happen to be in the same room we had in January except just the 1 BR side this trip. Last trip, the remotes were the pits.....incredibly slow. Some others had the same experience. I am happy to report that all three remotes in our villa now work incredibly well. A small thing but.......:cool1:

Saw the wonderful greeter, Teena, in the lobby. Jaclyn and Matt made checkin a pleasure.

Sounds good! Is your room all refurbed?

It is. Was in January, too, for that matter. There's an iHome in the master BR, both TVs are flat panels and the couch has new fabric with a different pattern. The banquette seat cover is different too but we had villas with this pattern last year as well. Apparently the refurbishment was in two steps.

Sounds great! We were there for Christmas.. we LOVED IT!!!

We love it, too.

There were guys on a hydraulic lift today working on the side of the building. Couldn't tell if they were painting, caulking or whatever.

We had a great dinner at Flying Fish last night. There is a new experience there....dinner with an Imagineer. I hadn't heard of it before seeing the sign last evening.

Going there for Spring Break and glad they have an I Home - my DS 14 will be thrilled .

We don't care about the remotes. He just leaves the TV on 24/7 watching Stacy and the 7 top hits. Yuck!

We had the same problem with the remote in our studio at BCV at the end of January. All I wanted to see on tv was the weather channel and it was almost impossible to get the remote to work well enough to get the channels to change to the weather channel.

We'll be back at BCV in March so I'll have to see if the remote is any better than it was. I sure hope so! We really liked BCV. That remote was just a minor irritation.

Disney's TV selection is a irritation, they really need to get some channels. Had to spend a day in the room last Oct and thought I was going to scream. I realize they don't want people to stay in the room, but sometimes it just can't be helped.

Great news about the TV remotes. It gives me one more reason to look forward to my trip there in October.

BCV always smells so darn good! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear your trip is going well so far!

LOL, thanks for the reminder! I love that smell when you first walk into the BCV lobby. I always stop and inhale. My appologizes if anyone's ever been walking behind me when I stop suddenly just inside the door.

I just spent the weekend in BCV. I shared a 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor for 2 nights and then I was in a studio on the 5th for the 3rd. The new TVs are nice, but none of us used them, so I can't comment on the remotes.

The 2 bedroom was a cash reservation from CRO, they get housekeeping every day. The first time there were 5 glasses in the villa and the person put them in the whole wash cycle.

After my experience in BLT with the toilet tissue, I was interested in seeing what would be in my BCV studio, which was rented with points. There were 2 extra rolls, there were 2 coffee packs. BCV's mousekeepers take good care of us!

OMG those remotes were pathetic. Most people won't know what you are talking about how irritating it was. It was like being in the bathroom and the TP dispenser would give you one sheet every 10 seconds. :scared1::laughing:
Thanks for the update.:thumbsup2 One month to go.;)

Thanks for the info on the remotes. I was going to buy a universal remote to bring with me in April. I know it's a VERY small issue the remotes drove me crazy.

Bobbi, I think I may have seen you! I was walking through the BC hall toward Ariel's and saw someone who looked like the picture posted of you and Diane. I said hi...I wonder if it was you!?

The housekeepers at BCV do indeed take good care of the members. :flower3:

It is a small thing but was so irritating, wasn't it?

It was that bad.:upsidedow

It was indeed.

We checked out yesterday and moved over to the Polynesian for a couple nights. Tomorrow we move again to THV...can not wait!!!

We do so love BCV. It was great as always to see Vanessa, Maria and Elaine at the Marketplace. Mark, too. I think Karen is new but she's another delightful CM at that shop.

BCV23....I'm sorry that I didn't recognize you. I went to the pool one day, and another evening we ate at the Captain's Grill, so I definitely was in that area.

I try to say hi! Shucks..it would have been nice to meet you!
