BCV tubes noodles

They will rent you a tube for usage at SAB (not sure if it's hourly or daily as I've never done it). If you bring your own tube, they can stop you from using it as they have certain rules to follow. Some people have been allowed to use their own clear tubes, while others have been told no. There are only a certain amount available for rent. However, you can certainly buy your own noodle and use that which is much cheaper. We always pick up a couple of noodles from publix when we arrive ($4.00 ec) and use them during our trip. On the last day, we give them away. I don't know if they sell noodles at the resorts.

They will not let you use your own tube any more. You can purchase your own noodle and use them, though. They don't provide noodles. And tubes are not free - you have to rent them at the pool shack. Not free for DVC.

We bought two noodles from BCV last summer. I think they were $5 each. We bought them from the same place that you rent the tubes.

When I was there with DS in Oct. we purchased tubes from the gift shop at BC for $5/ea. The rental price I believe was $10/day. I think that may have been $5 per day each, but I'm not 100% sure. Still you're much better off buying your own & then giving it away when you leave.

Seems like a unexpensive "Perk"that DVC could give us?
10 bucks a day for 5 days for a family of four seems excessive.

Its because they only allow a certain number of tubes in the pool for safety reasons, so there are not alot of tubes available. The fact that this pool is shared by three resorts, paying for it would seem like the only fair thing to do. Believe me, you are not missing anything if you pass on the tubes. The noodles are your best bet and easier to work with. The little lazy river section is hardly worth renting a tube for and the pool is always pretty crowded, so there's not much room to really float around.

Do they allow baby sized tubes? I am talking about the ones with a crotch for wee little ones?

I've been meaning to ask how much the noodles were. I'll definitely pick some up from Target ($1-2) and bring them along. Thank goodness for flying southwest!

Our kids have found if they are polite and courteous and promise to return them at a determined time, the Cast members will lend them noodles from the Lost & Found bin. This is a great lesson for kids in communication as well as toy recycling
