BCV transportation questions??

We are headed down next month for our first stay at BCV. This is pretty much a no parks trip(well maybe 2 days out of 10). We have a couple of PS' over toward the MK, one at Chef Mickey's and 1 at O'hana. Both are dinner PS's. We will have our car, but I know the girls would enjoy a spin on the monorail. Can you access the monorail from Epcot over to the MK resorts if you don't have a park ticket in to Epcot? When you walk into Epcot aren't you let in at the international gateway? What would the best transport options be? Would it just be so much easier to drive? I know that Disney transport would be slower, but my kids usually enjoy the bus/boat/monorail ride. I hope this question makes sense.

If you want the Epcot Monorail (from BCV) you will need a ticket to walk to the front. I would drive and than take the monorail to resort hop for fun (either before or after dinner).

Just park at MK, then ride the resort monorail around, just for fun. Or, simply drive to the Epcot parking lot and ride monorail over. BCV is very close to the Epcot Parking lot, but no way to get there on foot (except through the park)

... and take the monorail from there to the Poly if you'd prefer to do Disney transportation the whole way! As others have said, there's definitely no way to get to the Epcot monorail unless you go thru the park. You're correct that the closest entrance is at International Gateway. It's a fairly long walk to get to the Epcot monorail from there anyway, so IMO it would be better to either take your car to Epcot and ride the monorail from there or drive to the MK area and then ride the monorail for fun after dinner.

Happy planning,
Sarah

thanks for the replies, I'm looking forward to it no matter how we have to get there!:sunny:

If you drive to Epcot parking lot and take Epcot monorail to TTC, you will be at backdoor of Poly and can walk to O'hana.

Drive to where you have the PS, they will let you in to park if you have reservations. Then just take the mono-rail ride around the lake at the MK!!
