How can I get to the front of Epcot from BCV? I would like to take the monorail to MK and then the boat over to WL. I have seen those DVC vans, would they give us a ride? I am going to MVMCP that night, so I will not be using regular park tickets that day, so walking thru Epcot is not an option.
I'll second what Debbie said. When we ate at Whispering Canyons, we took the bus to MK and caught the boat to WL. Easiest, fastest, & least amount of walking.
I guess we will just take a bus to MK from BCV. If I see a cab, maybe I'll consider that option to get to Epcot. I enjoy riding the monorail - it is like a ride without park admission.
Once you are at the MK, you could still take the monorail just for fun before or after your meal.
Or afterwards, you could take the boat to the Contemporary and hop the monorail there. I agree the monorail is a great ride unto itself as are the boats on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.
Oh, and if you do decide to take a cab, just tell the folks at the valet/bellservices area. They'll call one for you. But I would take the bus to MK and start your adventure there.
This is a great idea! Make sure to ask the CM on duty if you can ride in the front of the monorail with the driver. You may have to wait for the correct colored monorail for that resort as each resort has one color on which their passengers have "dibs" on the front. You can fit up to 4 people up front and it's worth the wait!
